It was united for a brief time! From 1822 to 1844. But it was not a very peaceful unification.

My history videos don't include too many details; they are just summaries of the more significant events. I would have loved to talk about Anacaona, maybe in a future video, but I don't want to explain every historical figure in detail or else the video would be hours long
