ASMR Dowsing, reflexology and aromatherapy with

I find that the more absurd the woo woo nonsense, the more intensely relaxing the ASMR is. I wonder why that is? It’s also why I love Melissa’s alternative medicine videos more than her medical assessment ones. I’ve said this before, but I’ll also say it again because the comments section for this video seems more volatile than usual: Yes, this is of course nonsense. However, the vast majority of these practitioners are providing a relaxing environment, personal attention, lending an ear and in many cases (like this one) providing an actual massage therapy. They’re providing real benefits even if they aren’t the ones they’re claiming. And that’s before you get into the powerful placebo effect that many people get from believing that magic rocks placed on their forehead will bring balance to their lives. Unless these people make claims that their treatments can replace real medicine, it’s absolutely harmless at worst, and probably helps a lot just due to the relaxation aspect, and we don’t need to keep repeatedly having the same discussions in the comments. Can we all just shut up and enjoy the nice relaxing content and fall asleep like we came here to do?

None of these people are ever upfront that their treatments are nonsense, and buying into bs theories can do real damage, even if they don’t explicitly claim their treatments can replace proper medicine. So these aren’t always ‘harmless’ , no. It’s about selling nonsense for money.

Me too 😂 but it is nice to think something else is deciding (-: think it’d be a real test to hook it from an inanimate object isolated from wind etc and complete multiple studies to see if it can move by itself. It is nice to see different treatments and ways of picking out the essential oils.

At the end of the day no matter how many times I make disclaimers or explain that I pay for these treatments for the sake of this channel (which then pays itself back) people will always make assumptions about my beliefs and financial situation 😅 I sometimes think people prefer to see a young gullible girl than someone helping people on the internet while also trying to make a side income 😂
