On today's menu: delicious, sweet pastries!
I purchased these apple and berry strudels from my local Aldi (Australia) - to my surprise, they were vegan! And because pastries and creaminess go so well together, I decided to whip up some custard (the powdered, supermarket kind - also vegan) to drizzle over the top. As you will see in my video, that turned out to be a bit of a fail as the custard went from a pouring consistency to a super thick consistency! No problem, though - I just spread it on top of the strudels like jam. ;)
