This is the fastest I've clicked on a video all day! Lol! What type of cherries were you using? For some reason they looked different from the type I'm used to seeing on banana splits. Maybe it was just the lighting though! Lol! I only ask because I would have to use black cherries on mine. They're the only kind I've found that I like.

Hehe, nice! These are fresh cherries. The kind you buy at the supermarket or farmers market/green grocer. :) I think for banana splits the bottled and sweetened kind is normally used and they look super bright red and have an almost artificial cherry flavour to them. (At least I think so, lol!) 💕💕💕

Definitely do it, if you're thinking about it. :) It's a great experience and lots of fun. xx I use a Sony A600 camera, a Blue Yeti microphone and a free audio programme called 'Audacity' which picks up the sounds from my mic and enhances them. I also use a free editing programme called 'Hit Film Express'. These days smart phones have excellent camera (and even audio) quality so realistically you could get started with just your phone. I wouldn't say you need to invest in a bunch of equipment straight away until you know it's what you really want to do. 💕💕💕

Idk if this is an intrusive Q but im curious do you make money from youtube to cover your costs/ more than cover your costs, not cover them or do you not keep track? (This goes out to all relatively established food asmrtists tbh)

Hi Jenny, no, not intrusive at all. :) My channel only just go monetized in late June after waiting 6 long months. There was some sort of hold up/issue at KZbin and thousands of channels were waiting for ages to have their channels monetized. (Before that issue it only took around 1 week, so something weird was going on, but it seems to be fixed now.) I am hoping that the money I get from ads (which at the moment is very small compared to what I spend on my channel) will be enough to at least cover the cost of the food that I buy for this channel. And I'm not gonna lie - I would like to make some side income for myself as well. After all, I put a lot of time and effort into the channel (I consider it like my second job) so it would be nice to be compensated for it. I have also spent a lot of money on this channel (on food alone) in the past 6 months with no monetary return yet. Yep, I will be keeping track of my expenses and claiming them when I do my taxes, since the money I will earn from KZbin will be considered income for tax purposes. I would say (but I'm not 100% sure) that the very large channels (that get hundreds of thousands of views per video) are probably able to do KZbin as their full time income/job because they would be bringing in a lot of advertising revenue and sponsorships and such. I hope that sheds some light on your questions. 💕💕💕
