So theoretically does it make the most sense to tank to group D so u can farm the most points and then have 100% 2 chances at getting into the World Cup? Like obviously if you’re a country like England, Spain, Germany etc. but countries like Ukraine what even is the point of promoting? Doesn’t it make the most sense to be in a weaker League so they can get the most points and actually benefit from the Nations League?

Theoretically yes you’re right. Being in a weaker league will help your chances of getting to the playoffs which is stupid. As I said tho, I’m not sure if it’s seeded so those in the higher leagues get ranked higher but it’s a good point u make

tbf, we always do quite poorly when we're not playing in Euros on WC. Like in our Euros qualifying group, we finished behind Romania, and we did awful this tournament. I'm not worried though, (mostly because Liverpool are doing so well), but we didn't put out our best team once during this tournament and we got unlukcy in a few games. However, I think Yakin our coach has to go because aside from the Euros we've been horrendous under him. Also, Shaqiri, Sommer, and Schar leaving has made a giant impact, so we're getting used to life withoyt them. When Xhaka leaves though we're cooked
