I love your technique because you know to massage upward instead of dragging down on the hair and skin. In nursing class we were taught always rub or massage upwards to go against gravity which feels better on the body. A sort of 'lifting' if you will.

Your brother’s hair is so gorgeous Nefertiti, and now you’ve got me curious about the use of aloe on hair. I’m not of black heritage (I’m white British), but I’ve gone through my entire life with extremely thick, dry hair that draws attention (sometimes bad). So far I’ve not been able to find anything that nourishes the hair without just leaving it oily. I’m now curious to try aloe. If anything, it seems very lush! Away from that, you’re gorgeous people and I love your uploads very much! 💖

Natural aloe hydrates the hair, you can use it as a mask or leave it in if it doesn't flake but most people I know use it as a mask then wash it out. I'd suggest using it as an overnight mask to start with since leaving it in might be heavy on your texture of hair then see how it works for you and experiment

Aloe plus a lot of coconut oil - depending on your sense - leave it overnight and wash in the morning, once a week. The best natural way to keep it nurtured. I also have thick and dry hair, it's awesome for mine. :) Ps. If it might interest, search for no poo/low poo washing techniques. Removing any kind of contact with sulfates (wich brings more dryness) helped A LOT it's bright and strength. Hope it helps ❤️
