I honestly watch a video from you often and I have never seen the slightest agression, rude behavior, negative feedback or any such thing in the comments section. You'r blessed with the best audience. Even the biggest youtubers have a huge amount of hate in the comments and I don't think there's a single person in the world besides you that has such a loyal, positive, polite and supportive fan base. I think this kind of "more serious" videos is a good thing to develop on you channel, now you can see "relaxation vids", "helping vids", "tingly vids", "distraction vids"..., and I think that's good. Furthermore, if you read this, I want you to know that's all my thoughts are with you through this hard time. Finn Hamilton I would've been so mad at my mom. So scared for her and sad that she would do that, I contemplate suicide occasionally and these are some of the reasons why I can't do it. It's selfish and traumatising to the people that love you. I'm so sorry you had to go through that 😢
@Lydianon5 жыл бұрын
I did that cuz I was mad at my bf as well as hopeless. We were adults though. I remember him forcing his fingers down my throat too, I got away, opened the door, ran out, then went unconscious as I was starting to run down the stairs. Fell face first. Messed up my neck. Was in intensive care for a few days. Just a couple months later the jerk beat me badly and held me hostage & there was a police standoff. Yeah, I used to pick some real winners. Lol. My last bf wasnt violent luckily but he died so now I think I'd be better off as a Cat Lady Lol Less drama, and cats don't get psychotically jealous. Jealousy is just the crazy possessive side of insecurity which is the ugliest quality in a man. If you see it girls, run away, run far away from that man. Confident guys are sexier anyway and don't get jealous.
@iTzDeyo5 жыл бұрын
@@Lydianon if you see an Insecure guy run? Why not help him work through it. Seems kinda heartless. If a guy with a girl and she threatens to kill herself bc of you, run away from them, they are the worst.
@Lydianon5 жыл бұрын
@@iTzDeyo Maybe I didn't explain myself very well. Everyone gets insecure at times, that's natural. And then there's the psychotic jealous type (the ones that would rather kill their wife than let her go, or break her nose because he thinks she's having an affair but she's not) That jealous type has insecurity as the basis of his anger, etc. So that's what I was trying to say. And yes, people who threaten suicide really annoy you, I can see that. And then there's the ones who don't threaten, they just do it. If anyone else here knows someone who talks about suicide and there's a chance they mean it, all you need to do is make one phone call to get them help. Alot of the time they don't actually want to die, they're having a mental health issue that they don't know how to deal with, sometimes it's a chemical imbalance that a Dr can help with. Sometimes counseling helps. Either way, if you don't want to deal with it, tell someone who can help them. It's better than feeling guilty if they actually do kill themselves. (I don't know why I always end up doing public service announcements here, Lol. Well yeah I guess I do actually- There's some depressed people I've talked to here, it's easier to tell a complete stranger things that your friends are maybe too immature or just don't care enough to help you deal with. Finally-- the point is-- get your friend some help if they're threatening suicide. Goodnight.

Hi mum, I just wanted to say a really huge ginormous thank you. I have been an insomniac/had issues with sleep since I was a baby pretty much. Even at the age of 4, my parents used to check in on me at 3am and find me wide awake. I've always had issues with sleeping, whether it be I don't sleep for days, or when I do it's for short amounts of time and at inappropriate times, this being during the day after passing out and I end up missing work, college or university. I discovered your channel four months ago, as well as ASMR at that time the whole ASMR/sleep/tingle etc thing was new to me. Since discovering your channel, I have since made a playlist of my favourite videos of yours which I love to watch that make me feel relaxed. I now go to bed around 10/11pm every evening now and I wake up at 7/8 or 9am, meaning for the first time in my life I have a sleeping pattern, and I am getting 6+ hours sleep each night. Never in my life before have I had this happen. For the first time in my life I look forward to 'bedtime', in fact, I get so upset if I stay up later than 11pm, and I'm 21! Thanks to you, I sleep every night, and get up and go to work. I have BPD and hypochondria, and although I struggle with my mental health every day, thanks to you I can sleep for the first time ever, which has improved my mental health so much. I cannot express my gratitude to you. You are a wonderful woman and don't you ever forget that. You have improved my life so much in the past four months I can't even begin to type it all. All I can do is thank you once again

Traumatic Experience: I was about seven years old and had cavities so my mother took me to a dentist and made an appointment. We should've gotten a hint from the rundown looking wallpaper and over excited nurses but didn't. They started removing the teeth and forgot to administer the numbing part, aka, anesthesia, so I felt it all and was in pain and I screamed for my mother who was in the room. "If you dont stay still sweetly we'll have to tie you down." The doctor said but I didn't listen. The nurses then brought in actual belts, like, for your clothes, and roped me down then continued the procedure. This didn't help when I had to have a surgery a couple years later, and it took real courage to type this because my mind decided that it was too much and locked this memory away.

Honestly i find it comforting when asmr artists ask you about something that has happened to you/trauma and I’ve seen a lot of comments (which are much worse than mine) so I decided to talk about it When i was 7 years old my father got arrested for unknown reasons (a politician wanted to get him out of the way but i will not talk about it in depth) and left me, my mom and my two brothers. Since i was very little, my mom didn’t tell me what was going on and she just said that he was going to film a new movie. After a while (about half a year) of not seeing my father, i started getting really anxious and started writing letters, which luckily got sent to him. My mom noticed this and got me a emotional support dog (she is still with me). He did reply, but after that i had terrible nightmares that he might get hurt or even worse, die. The first time i heard my fathers voice was one and a half years later. It was really emotional and I remember bursting into tears hearing him. During the first two years, we were really poor. My mom was the only one that worked and she did not have enough money for food and we often ate leftovers (sometimes even full meals) that my aunt and grandma prepared for us. My mother was very considerate and she started getting credit from the bank so we could go on vacation, but it did put us into a lot of debt. Another year passed, and i finally got to see my father. They allowed him to go to this café where my mom also took me. I didn’t know what was happening but when i saw my father (after two years,which is not a lot) we both started crying. I am going to stop here since this is my soft spot and i could have a anxiety attack. I hope you can understand, but i am going to say that My father is now home Our family still has debt to pay and we are still recovering. 5 years have passed and after endless birthday wishes about my father returning home and fighting depression, i can proudly say that i am a happy 14 y.o.

Karuna Satori ASMR Ahhh I have tears in my eyes from your response! You are very right. We all deserve a full, happy life. Just know you've made a HUGE impact on mine! For 8 months I've had horrible agoraphobia and last week I made it out to my therapy appointment. I stopped in a parking lot on the way there and actually watched one of your videos and it truly helped me. I live for you, girl! Keep doing what you are doing. I know you say it helps you to film which I'm so glad you have your channel to do so, but you're also helping so many! NEVER forget that! I truly love you and can't thank you enough!!! ❤

This is so useful! A longer version would honestly be so amazing🧡 - whenever I have flashbacks or particularly vivid memories/ nightmares this always manages to get me to calm down and breathe and to remember to be present - thank you so much for making this 💕 it’s done so much for me, even though obviously you can’t hear me it’s so good to actually be able to tell someone what’s happened, in a way it actually makes it easier. Much love xxx

My therapist has been practicing EMDR with me for my PTSD! One thing that I think especially can help with more debilitating traumatic memories is he had me mentally create a safe place that only I can go to that could look any way I wanted it to. So each session before we brought up any memories I would mentally enter this safe place so that I could feel physically and mentally safe before bringing up something that feels unsafe. He also suggested using the mental safe space even when im not with him if I ever feel the need to calm down or escape any mental danger. 💕✨ it's wonderful to experience this again as I havent seen my therapist in a few months and it feels great! Thank you ✨💕

i did emdr therapy for childhood sexual traumas and it did me wonders! i never thought i would be able to heal from what happened to me, but after emdr therapy for a little over three months, my biggest triggers and traumas became just like other memories to me. if you are very triggered by certain traumas i HIGHLY recommend, emdr was truly life changing.

mine was when i was 10 years old and i was trapped on a boat that was rocking so badly that everyone on the boat got sick. i had to witness my family get sick and i was the only person there who didn’t. it’s so traumatic to me because i felt helpless during that time. now i have emetephobia and i’m deathly afraid of having kids (morning sickness), or stepping foot on a boat again ☹️ this probably sounds pussy af but it was so terrifying. but thank you mom this helped a lot ❤️❤️

Whelp, my traumatizing event was March 2 2012, I was 9 or 10 years old we just saw the lorax you opening night, and me being a dumbass kid went into my backyard and started hitting trees with sticks, my dad had been chopping down some dead trees and he accidentally left the chainsaw unsheathed near the pile of sticks I was playing in, I slipped on one of the sticks and I fell wrist first, on the chainsaw (no it wasn't running) I hobbled inside screaming at my sister to grab our mom, we made it to the ER in time and I got stiches, I still have the scar on my right wrist

I found Karuna's videos to follow up in between sessions, and I have to say this was absolutely effective for me. Your voice is so soft and relaxing followed by the sounds and following fingers and blue lights was very effective for me. I could do this over and over. This is really going to help me. I can already feel a difference. Thank you so much for doing this for us. You are awesome. I could just forget about everything and be so relaxed I can fall asleep. Now when I think about a hurtful moment, I can associate it with the sounds and relaxation feelings, and It is not hurtful anymore. I am going to be watching all your videos. Thank you once again!

ive been suffering with minor ptsd from an event that happened three years back, and ive attempted therapy of almost every kind, but asmr (especially yours) has helped me a lot through it. when i found this video, i knew it would help with my minor ptsd and already there bpd, and it really did. every time i would think abt that event id break down and flash right back to it. having a barrier between me and you, the therapist, is so much better to me than a real person in front of me. because really, im the only one hearing myself. now, i feel so much better about myself reacting to the event that happened, and i hope that in the morning ill be strong enough to overcome that. thank you so much. seriously. ♥

The therapist for our unit recommended I search up EMDR videos on KZbin because I couldn't concentrate and stay still with her doing it with me in real life. This really relaxed me and I can't thank you enough. I'm so glad I found you!
@akcland53495 жыл бұрын
I'd be careful with the claims, you've potentially introduced a great therapy to a lot of needful people; however, the creators and officially certified trainings require a minimum of a masters degree in a related field to recieve certification, also EMDR doesn't require "telling the trauma" merely thinking of it. Great video, I just thought I'd clarify some errors that I'm sure you'd appreciate being brought forward. I'm personally associated with a expert in this therapy so that's how I have an in depth knowledge of it. Thanks for your work and introducing this therapy, I just hope it's toward truly certified individuals rather than unlicensed training classes.
