I left them in mainly and turned the volume down on it, it was really loud due to using a very sensitive mic 🙈

I agree, a big part of the satisfaction is hearing the noises they make! I think turning them down a bit is a good compromise though :]

same It kind of bothers me when asmrists worry to much about louder sounds or background noise like I don’t care…. asmr is actually less enjoyable to me when they try any make it super “perfect” and high production. I actually love bg noise and I don’t think asmr has to be quiet all the time
