I feel glad to finally have an ASMR talking about real problems, not being like "It's okay" when it's not and having a REAL low/dark light so it doesn't hurt the eyes in bed. Your videos are really good and your voice is calming. Good vibes come from your videos so keep it up and be yourself.

@nnslg
@nnslg 4 жыл бұрын
Because knowing what's going on in the world is essential to being an intelligent person in modern society. Hiding from or ignoring reality to save yourself some anxiety is great if you can be satisfied living in the dark, but that's not for me.
@crinxy4860
@crinxy4860 4 жыл бұрын
@@nnslg If news media provided 100% honest coverage I would certainly watch it, but the amount of mental filtration one has to do in order to get to the truth is insane, and even when you get there, how can you ever prove it to really be the truth? Any news media is a business just like Pepsi is a business, their goal is to make money and grow their business, they know exactly what kind of news to present, and in which way, to get a reaction out of people, and it was discovered that it is both easier and more effective to try and get a negative reaction from people, so what resulted from this? News coverage as we see it now, nothing but negativity, war, pollution, plagues etc.. You are able to figure out everything you need to know just by living your life, there is no need to watch the news, if anything happens that is important in any way, there will be other ways of finding out, which require no effort on your part. I don't watch the news, and still I know what is going on in the world, at least the things that affect me, anything beyond that is useless information that will do nothing but upset me.

Can you be burnt out on life? Because that is definitely how I’m feeling at the moment. My life has decided to be one long string of things to stress me out; including but not limited to: starting an immune suppressant to treat my eczema, COVID numbers exploding, having trouble getting said med filled due to insurance, finally getting it filled, quarantine starting, not seeing my fiancée from March until mid-June, legal stuff popping back up surrounding a car accident I was in in 2017; and the list goes on. First few days were the hardest for me to tell myself that I in fact do not need even more drugs to function. Definitely felt like that though. Drugs and other mind-altering substances are not a coping mechanism, people. You are your greatest enemy when things come to sorting out your life, feelings and everything else. I looked myself in the eye and, well, didn’t quite win yet, but in the process of winning this battle, and then the whole war. Face yourself. Come out on top. Everything else will follow soon after. I'm not seriously burnt out at the moment, but I really loved the video. It all still felt really helpful and relevant, so thank you for that. I've been continuously 'tired' similarly for lots of things in any case, which is a weight on a lot. What you said felt meaningful also. Everything was so extremely soothing and pleasant too. The atmosphere and sounds were nice - I got tingles from a couple triggers too. Baths feel a bit vulnerable for me, but it was really soothing and I was well. Thank you I've actually been starting to feel more real, grounded and less distracted for most of this last week. I'm starting to take care a bit. Lots of old difficult stuff had been resurfacing way too chaotically before that and it got bad, but it seems to have been positive in some way for once. Not easy to trust that impression tbh. Very proud to have tackled an issue a bit.

There is always such TRUTH in your words/videos... i share you from time to time with the general populace, not for the ASMR but for the unfiltered pureness of your wisdom... Once in a while, it is noticed ✨ I certainly do. I know many others do too.

Wow, you were one of the first ASMR channels I ever watched, the reason I started enjoying it really, the way you do your soft speaking in your videos is so special.

Thank you for this. I just found you two days ago but this came at the perfect time. I’ve fallen into a depression recently because I’ve been so burnt out and running on empty the last week or so. Classes started this week and I’ve been working whenever I’m not in class and it’s just worn me down so much. I saw this on my feed and knew it was what I needed. Thank you.

17 credits of class and still working around 30 hours a week. When I’m not at work or school I’m sleeping, or trying to anyway, because I’ve been sleeping so badly. It’s just so hard. I hate not having time to relax or even read a book or something. I keep myself going with art and haven’t done any in weeks so I’ve run out of energy and drive and I can’t keep up

I do not leave messages. But I will here. Strange, Gothic, dark, and I am comfortable there. Intelligent, diction, perfect pronunciation in a way that brings a beauty and grace to the word. Thistle, my favorite, in nature wild and thorny but defiant and beautiful as well. What an absolute jewel this lady is, and I mean that most sincerely. Thank you.
