Ah back before ASMR was ‘cool’ or a trend and it was genuine, not over produced and still some of the most tingly inducing stuff I’ve watched
@MaleSoothe2 жыл бұрын
Yeah that really was the case back then. I found ASMR when it first started with so-called vlogs after searching for whisper videos for a couple years. The reason obviously being to scratch the ASMR itch. Anyway I still enjoy these low production videos because it reminds you of an actual experience :D

Awesome vid, very relaxing. The gap in the MX pesos coins is because in 1993 they (the govt) decided to drop three zeroes from the currency, so your 1000 pesos coins (now outdated) became the two-color one pesos. :)

I'm an American living in Canada. I've always called them nickels and quarters, and no one has ever corrected me! Now I have to wonder if it's because they're just too polite, or if no one notices because I live in a western, "Americanized" province! Fantastic, original video! Thanks, and keep doing what you're doing! :-)

The dollar sign originated in the US. The original dollar sign was the S with two lines through it. This was VERY originally an S over the top of a U - ie. US. Other countries (including my home country Australia) later adopted the dollar sign and the second line was dropped to just 1. There's an interesting lesson for the day :)

The $ is not exclusive to the United States Dollar, it's used by several countries that use either Dollars or Pesos as their national currency. The $ is a Dollar sign in The U.S, Canada, Australia, Singapore and other countries that use dollars as currency. The $ is a Peso sign in Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Colombia and other countries that use Pesos as currency. The second C in cincuenta pesos is with a hard K. Very late to reply to your comment, but I took French for 5 years in junior high/highschool in the US and we always said franc with a "k" sound for the c. Even by french speakers I've never heard the C being mute

Technically, Canada has no "nickel" or "quarter." Those terms are Americanisms that have crept into the language. Officially, they are five-cent and twenty-five-cent pieces. We also have, officially, notes rather than bills. Another Americanism. Oh well. This is still a great video!
