I think the bugs were rough but the story and the map/quests were difficult to follow. I felt like I couldn't grasp what exactly would be the consequence of my actions- whereas in witcher 3 I was fairly confident in my choices. I also thought the interface was terrible- like very poorly constructed and unintuitive. Hacking is also disruptive to gameplay. Had a hard time immersing myself. The aesthetic is incredible, however. I would have liked to have a bit more control over some of the character deaths as well.

@@victorsoldano1550 yep good points ... I thought the story was a bit of a letdown too, as opposed to Witcher

Fortunately I had relatively few bugs overall and Honestly I spend a lot of time just fast traveling from shop to shop and tried on a bunch of outfit combinations. Overall I feel like I got my moneys worth so far and with DLC's and Patches I think ultimately I would do another playthrough (I am just shy of the last mission). But yeah, they didn'T act in good faith but I am quite certain they will remedy things over the course of the year.

Loved it despite everything. Just walking around the city was very satisfying. Loved the characters and some missions are really really good.
@ShadyShadok3 жыл бұрын
I played it through and it was so-so (wechselbad der gefühle how we say in german). Some aspects I really enjoyed, the world was beautful and some side stories were really intriguing. Other stuff was, like you said, a letdown. I had some funny bugs that were overseeable but some were also annoying. There weren't so many cool side stories that the world allows. AI was pretty stupid. Some Endings were lackluster and the options were not as diverse as I had hoped. So all things considered I thought it was still a good game, but it could have been so much better if they have had more time to polish it and work more on the details. I'm looking forward to the DLCs and what they might add to the game. EDIT: Now that I've listened to some of your comments: I have to disagree to the "random people calling you" part. Those were fixers and it was their job to know you as a top of the notch street samurai. So actually liked these parts and it made you as a character more interconnected with the world. But I agree with the not getting to much into the story part. My problem was that the main motivation of the protagonist was to be a legendary gangster in the city...and that just didn't resonante with me. Even as a corpo you start as a low level gangster who "wants to get big" and that felt weird..

I saw a comparison video of GTA V details vs. Cyberpunk 2077 details and Cyberpunk was put to shame in almost every comparison (especially AI-wise). For a game that missed the mark in so many areas but put so much emphasis into character customization, I really wish they would’ve added an option for 3rd person camera view like most RPGs so that I could at least see my character throughout the game.

i downloaded this game and played it for a few hours but struggled to motivate myself to play for more than that. everyone is talking about the bugs and poor optimization etc. however for me i just couldnt get into the "world" of cyberpunk and all of the items and upgrades and skills were quite overwhelming for me (and i play a lot of games like this). also the final nail in the coffin was not being able to mark items as "junk" in your inventory, like u can in outer worlds or borderlands 3 for example. that makes selling items tedious and slow.

Dude, I agree with you 100% on every point. I was mostly "hyped" for another CDPR game, I wished it would be as good as the Witcher 3 but it was such a disappointment, you can tell the Keanu Reeves addition came after they did some work on the game and they had to alter the story for it. The biggest letdown for me was the RPG elements, I wished they would have many things to do in the city and outside, like sit around a bar, check in at motels, and other stuff in Night City, but the city and AI are so dead. And the voice acting is kind of stale, especially for V, the way he said things was sometimes cringey and totally different from what I imagined when picking that choice.

Much like you, I love CDPR, and I struggled with whether to refund it or not. I ultimately decided to do so. I couldn't launch the game, it immediately crashed. I waited on their support to look into it, it took several weeks, but it turns out that CDPR only built CP2077 for very specific builds on Win10 (DirectX12, not related to 64bit). There was never any indication that this was going to be a requirement, and, as this breaks several other implementations that I use I'd never really be able to play the game. On top of all their other issues, the point was clear, they failed on multiple levels with CP2077. Most importantly their management and handling of the game development process and their staff. All that talk about no crunch, and for those uninitiated crunch is something that happens because of very poor management, and being pro-gamer, pro-consumer ultimately didn't matter when there was money to be made. They're as bad as EA now, so while they're not dead to me or anything, unless their executives are dismissed (those responsible) I'll be pirating everything they do from here on out first and foremost. Their next game better be near perfect.
@DaFunkz3 жыл бұрын
I'm kinda glad my PC is too bad to play Cyberpunk, it allowed me to avoid the disappointment. I wish CDPR had taken more time to develop it, especially without crunch. It seems the higher ups messed up the game's scope and ultimately tried to crunch the Devs to fix it in time, which failed ofc. They probably also had shareholders pushing for a launch to get return on investment. The game's industry is pretty fucked tbh. I've heard Dues Ex offers a better take on the genre and gameplay, so I might try that out.

Such an underwhelming feeling, the story and city looked really good, but most missions were so simple that it all felt like a facade, 8 years in development and 300 million USD gets you a looter shooter, wannabe light RPG with terrible controls and some really forgettable moments, Shape your own history? Nope everything is on rails. Played it through and did the side missions, uninstalled and will probably never come back, there were potential for something so good and it turned out to be oh so sad and bad...
@andersfrantsen63273 жыл бұрын
Having a few good character side quests - and they weren’t that amanzing at all can’t carry the whole game. It’s an open world RPG style game with close to zero things to do, it’s like taking a walk down a fake ole western town, it’s just pretty facades, but beneath its all just sad plywood with nothing behind it. Defending CDPR for delivering a product in this state and with the underlying problems far deeper than just bugs honestly just underlines how biased some people are

Hey I've been watching your channel a while now. Seems you have very similar ASMR taste to me. I've also played and now completed Cyberpunk, also chose Nomad Male as a starter. Pretty surprised you didn't select Misty's 'Tarot' Clinic among your footage, it has Tibetan singing bowl as a soundtrack, and the whole 'personal touch' element if you ask her to read your future. Can I ask, did you get the 'Panam' ending, so to speak?
@findcalm3 жыл бұрын
I might've missed this clinic, thanks for the heads up. I only went to the doc as part of the main story and the creepy drag one. I did the Panam storyline yeah, but I didn't finish the whole game (finished where Johnny wants me to blow up the mega-corp and I said "yeah" even though I'm not sure why I should hate them so much)
@edmundkempin36533 жыл бұрын
@@findcalm ah you're pretty close to the end by the sounds of it. You will have been to Misty's clinic as you have to go through it to get to the first ripper doc guy. Problem is the game delivers so poorly on the immersive elements it is easy to overlook little bits in there that are occasionally good. Perhaps the game will be good enough to warrant a second play through in like 6 months from now, with some serious updates and patches

As someone who is not into these type of games, I heard about cyberpunk about a year ago? And from the start, not wanting to sound like a know it all, but it seemed quite obvious to me that it would be a HUGE fail, and a HUGE fail it was. Too much time to make it, the coding engineering from what I read is abysmally bad and amateurish, and there was simply too much hype and terrible organization within the CDPR company. I am sorry for those who were awaiting it.. but I mean.. there have been other games that have failed miserably and this game checked all the same boxes even pre-release. Adding. It seems the company knowingly lied about the game dynamics and graphics and created trailers they knew would never be even close to the actual game.

@@findcalm Just discovered your channel and boy... What an amazing voice you have ! From this video I get the feeling that you missed some things about the story, it could be because of the bugs tbh (My best friend plays on a 1080ti and has a lot of bugs, I did not have any on my first run, seen some on my second one tho) I think you should try it again once it's all patched and really pay attention to details, it can feel either lacking or overwhelming at times but they did a great job at making a world that feels real, even though it's not complete yet. Some answers to some points you made during the video : - Who are the person giving you the missions, are you supposed to know them ? No, they are called fixers, they know their district and gives jobs/gigs to mercenary (V's job) - Why does Johny Silverhand talks to you ? The chip (relic) you stole with Jacky in Arasaka contains Johny's engram, when V died after the heist, Johny's engram started overwriting V's peronality - You had to kill Woodman twice, why ? I did not see the gameplay but keep in mind that you got to finnish the bosses after defeating them. This comment is way to long sorry, I just wish they patch the game quickly so you can get the best experience out of it. Love your channel !
