Who came for the ASMR but stayed for the family time?

As someone who has had to live in a lot of rental housing, I can tell you that moving into a home with CLEAN floors and rugs is so uplifting! It let's you know that the landlord CARES abut the property and will be a participant in helping to maintain the home in good condition.
@LyndseyMacPherson3 жыл бұрын
So true. But more often than not, the landlord requires the tenant to clean the floors before they leave, which results in the cheapest option possible and less than terrific floors. Why I won't rent a place that has carpet.

I bought a house two years ago. I re-carpeted the entire upstairs because it just looked bad. I'm glad i did because even paying an amazing company like this wouldn't have helped. The pad was soaked in urine and I had to seal the floors. It had gotten into it under the baseboards. Nasty.

I lived in army quarters (British army) and it was the responsibility of the last tenant to clean the home. It was called March out and I only did one but it was the most scary day of my life! Considering I grew up in Northern Ireland during the Troubles, that had nothing on the March out. Everything and I mean everything had to be spotless. As we had some of are own furniture, we had army issue furniture that had to be clean. I managed it without any charges. I was chuffed, but then again I was a trained nurse and we were taught that there is never too clean!!

So glad you’re back! I really hope you’re feeling better. How is your arm? Also, I was curious about how long you were out of commission in total. When I watched the video of it happening I knew it was bad but I didn’t know just how bad. I’m really sorry you had to go through that. Question: Do you still have your dirt bike? My husband had a Honda (Honda version of a Harley kinda bike) years ago. I was petrified of the. And didn’t really want him riding it but he wanted one really bad and I wanted him to be happy so we went for it. I watched him get hit by an Expedition right in front of me in the first month he had it! It wasn’t his fault at all! That was awful! He wasn’t hurt too bad. The. He was riding and nearly hit a deer and had an owl hit him in the face! We sold it and I was so relieved! I liked BMX way better. Only a broken collar bone there. We’re too old for that stuff now and bless his heart but my husband has a ton of chronic pain from all of his “Youthful Adventures” That part sucks. I hope you can hit a happy medium of having fun and adventure but also not damaging your body to the point that your 40’s aren’t all about ice packs, heating pads and pain meds. Y’all stay safe in this crazy world and healthy! I’m glad to have y’all back!

You all do awesome work. Few Questions if don't mind. I have started recording a few thing for my KZbin channel. I do not have editing software yet so its not great. I also like how you were taking before and after pictures. That is a great idea. 1. How much do you charge for cleaning grout on floors like that? By sq ft I am guessing. I never know how I should charge someone when I do work for them. 2. What chemicals are you spraying on the grout to per-treat? They seemed to work really well. 3. What is the machine called you used on the grouted floor? Have other questions but do not want to ask to many. Thanks in advance for any response you are willing to send.

If carpet stains have a dried gummy texture, use orange pumice hand soap, and rub it out with your hand. Or, hammer it out if it's completely dried. I've saved expensive paint brushes using that stuff.
