There was a "white noise" sound in the background up til 10:31. It may have been due to moving the microphone away from an air-con device, away from the computer fan, moving the mic closer to her or changing some volume or mic settings but it's definitely noticeable that it went away at 10:31.

The background in this video is amazing. Totally put me in the mind set that I was actually at a salon. Nothing ruins a role play for me like a background that is clearly a bed room or a closet and I'm supposed to be in some amazing location. Good acting is great but it's made better by a believable set.

I don't know why everyone was complaining about her demeanor, I think she was very focused and attentive during this video, as always. I usually doze off during hair cuts it's one of my biggest triggers and this was very realistic and well executed. Thank you for helping me get some sleep last night after a long, shitty day.
@SintDemMale10 жыл бұрын
Ines Vasilevskis I am sure that they are not complaining. They are caring for the human being behind your tingles by asking: Ashlie, are you ok? Are you really ok? I agree in so far that it seems to me (Of course, I could be wrong) that making this excellent video was way more work than fun for Ashlie. Watching it, I felt like admiring a unicorn in a cage - a magical creature in the cage of expectations.The better part of two weeks had passed. People kept yearning for a brand-new video. Ashlie gave to them her latest video and, behold, it was very good. Now, the people are watching. They get a lot of relaxation and some mighty tingles, too. They feel wonderful. How does the unicorn feel? Bound by the promise to keep producing ASMR experience after ASMR experience for the waiting crowd?WhispersUnicorn Dear Ashlie, I hope that you still have your radiating smile. This is not a demand to see it on camera as a viewer but my honest hope that you are still cracking jokes, that you still have your most infectious smile and, also, that you could preserve the magic of a free-range unicorn in the face of stress and all the challenges of life. It seems to me that you are losing some of it, lately. It only seems, I am not sure. If I am right... is there a way to help you? :-)If I am wrong (which I really hope to be) then I beg everybody's pardon for the fuss.
@ilikebreadx310 жыл бұрын
Sintemal I don't think she really wants to tell anybody if anything is wrong because airing your problems and personal life on the internet is like the worst thing you can do... So putting aside the fact that she may not be "smiling enough" or "luminous enough", as you said there is a human behind those tingles and I would say she gave it her best shot and that's all you can ask for. Her channel can only become a burden if the public feels the need to constantly state they are unsatisfied. But she doesn't have to make videos if she doesn't want to. People will always find something to complain about.
@SintDemMale10 жыл бұрын
Ines Vasilevskis Caring for people (in the altruistic sense) is not complaining but it seems that we are not reaching a consensus here. I don't understand how you have arrived at your conclusions but I respect them. Let's agree to disagree. :-)
@WhispersUnicorn10 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I was confused by it as well. I actually fret getting on my channel now because I feel like everyone is telling me I'm smiling too much and it's annoying or I'm not smiling enough and I look sad. This video was different though because the amount of comments. It's actually making me question whether I was sad, which is insane! Sintemal Don't worry my friend. I've actually been doing okay. I am working a lot more and sleeping less so that could be an indicator for why i look tired but nothing to worry about. I so appreciate your concern though. You're a fantastic friend. :) I hope you're doing well too!

WhispersUnicorn totally! I don't mind the microdermabrasion tool you use in another video, I actually like it because the volume is just right... but I've watched a few other haircut ASMR videos... and the trimmers are the worst.... way too loud. The dryer is even worse. It just makes me think that you can tell (as a viewer) who is really more tuned to the tingles (as a performer).
