Ive been feeling the exact same way and im so glad to hear someone talk about it! I was feeling really homesick just now, just bittersweet about my summer break ending and leaving home, knowing that as I get older that the separation from my childhood home will become more and more permanent. It always helps to be in good company and have some sense of community though!
