This didn't take anything away from my enjoyment of the video, but I did want to say that the 1 in good-fortune unicorn is technically a generic mana cost, which can be paid by any color. Colorless mana, which is indeed a color, except when it isn't haha, is the diamond symbol you see on many mana rocks/lands, sol ring being a good example, and must specifically be paid using those icons like any of the other 5 colors

For the one where you play against your husband/friend, if the dueling partner isnt too comfortable with speaking on camera you could always do a voice over 🤔 its the first time that the wife and I are as excited for a set as Bloomburrow, planning on buying most things and making a commander deck out of the Izzet otter with custom tokens to really tie it all together XD

This backup deck is amazing! I love the secondary commander that comes with the precon. But fae dominion is the best! I fucking love faeries haha… I used it as a base and the added the white color. Liked and subscribed

The new expansion is coming, Bloomburrow, but they don't make much pre-build deck products anymore and starter set is apparently quite bad 😢

In the place I play, they told me that when a card cost colorless mana, I can use any other color that I already have on the field

Generic cost (represented by a number) can be cast with any color of mana so most of the time that is true. There exists a symbol for colorless mana (Mostly used with Eldrazi) and that means you actually need colorless mana!

You could make the argument that it is. Since WoTC introduced cards that specifically require colorless mana and not just "mana of any color".

Yeah, colorless mana and generic mana are two separate things now

Colorless and generic mana are two different things, but it's important to note that colorless is NOT considered a color. For example : Mother of Runes cannot give protection against Colorless until end of turn.
