its something you have to experience. you don't realize how much tension was in your body until after a massage. you'll feel extremely relaxed and light, like "how did I go so long without this??" it's incredible what our bodies can adapt to, if we were conscious of the stress in our bodies at all times massage would be treated as an everyday necessity instead of luxury

Actually, Raftel is a very important place in One Piece (the supposed place where the "goal" of the story should be). Since that and the fact that it's has been confirmed by One Piece author that the correct translation of the name is "Laugh Tale" (and not Raftel), I think that's a good name for the spa salon 😊

I commend the masseuse. Not only did she ask if there were places you didn’t want to be touched but she went above & beyond only massaging through your clothes or the blanket. Massaging through material is harder in my opinion but the did it well.

This looks an amazing massage, I love the intimate atmosphere created by the curtain, somehow it gives me a warm sense of protection. And I love how you only woke up once the bed eventually moved lol! I once had a hair spa and they had a similar reclining chair. Apparently the hairdresser warned me 2 or 3 times before she moved the bed but guess how deep I was sleeping! She had to move it for me to wake up! 😅 Every time I see you falling asleep I feel less alone! After all we have massages to relax, don't we?! 😂

@@Veckler Here I am! 😂 If it's a full body massage I can stay awake for most of it, but if it's a head spa I pass out in seconds. Touch my hair and you'll put me straight to sleep like a baby! And yes, sometimes I've been told that I snored too...whoops! 😅

I always find very funny how easily I fall in a deep sleep in a lot of situations, so I love to tell anecdotes about it! 😁 And yes, masseuses meet a lot of different people. Some relax in an instant, others need time to learn. The first time I had a massage I was a piece of wood, my masseuse kept repeating: "I guide, just let go". I had a few massages with her and in other places over a couple of years and when I eventually got another one with her I was soundly asleep before the end. She woke me up smiling and said: "Oh, you eventually learned to let go!" And that was good, because I learned that when it's time to be in control it's important to be in control and when it's time to relax, just relax! 😁

Go to a reflexology spa. Many give the massages in communal rooms where you don’t remove your clothing, just wear soft clothing like workout shorts for example

Very serious question cause I've been curious for the whole year I've been watching your videos and never thought ask until now. During the sessions do the do the explaining each step as they start it with all customers or do they do it for your videos only so we viewers can keep up? Like when she says starting the neck now, or I'll begin on your hands. Is that standard salon etiquette in Japan or a courtesy for viewers? I know they are so much more polite and professional then here with the greeting at the door with a warm welcome and the "please be nice to me" at the beginning of their session which I think is totally awesome, so I wasn't sure.

I have to agree the audio wasn’t the best in this video. It sounds like water dripping in the background like a faucet is turned on. I can’t tell if it’s a white noise machine, water, or a fan. I don’t mind hearing cars in the background but the wooshing sound is very distracting. I love this therapist though, I got lots of tingles.
