I realize this is random- ha. But there is an episode of greys anatomy that they have a room like this for the doctors (and I think patients too) to use as a “relax” room. It basically calms you down (scientifically) with the colors etc. It’s interesting how relaxing it really is even just watching this!

I just experienced this spa today in Osaka! I made sure not to fall asleep so I didn't miss a single minute. My spanist was so considerate and skilled - the videos do not completely convey the experience. As certain trigger points were pressed, I could feel the change in my heart rate. I had the 90 minute menu which was head, shoulders, and face. All three areas were covered about 4 times, and at each rotation, I could tell that each area would get more relaxed and loose at each pass. This was my husband's first ever massage, and he was nervous for the first few minutes, but became comfortable once the spanist completed the first round of shoulder massage. I absolutely would recommend head massage for someone who has never received any personal services before. I speak no Japanese, but after watching Twix for around 3 years, I exchanged Yoroshiku Onegaisemas' with my spanist before the service began, and she was tickled and gave me a big smile. *Thank you, Twix, for teaching us that phrase. I have used it with my Japanese tour guides, and they have each been so appreciative. ❣

This is why you’re the best Twix/Cam Sis… I love both the treatment AND the whispering. I don’t get that from other channels when it’s just the massage itself. They too are wonderful, but you are my favorite 👏 and my Go-To! The whispering/explanations really enhance the relaxation experience! Keep up the amazing work ladies ❤🎉

13:30 the fact that they are considerate about guests who may be self-conscious about their make-up is ❤. This is actually a huge reason I've never had a facial. I suffer from terrible acne & would hate to ever be in a position where I would have to leave a salon and travel home in public with no make-up on. I wish more salons offered the use of powder rooms, so the self-conscious people can reapply make-up before leaving.
@verena9911 Жыл бұрын
I think the reason why they don't offer it might be because the skin needs to "breathe" after all this cleansing and make up would clog the still open pores but if it's just a massage i don't know why they don't offer it tbh
@johnloverman Жыл бұрын
but the skin wouldn't be able to breathe after all that agitation/products being added. maybe salons should offer take home kits that come with instructional videos on how to apply remotely?
@hamsmith2126 Жыл бұрын
So the reason it’s not the best to apply makeup after a facial is because your skin has been cleansed and products have been applied to your skin and are there to be absorbed. Putting makeup back on, means you need to remove the makeup at home again, which means you’ll be taking off all that amazing product and makeup can block pores, blocked pores is a contributor to acne. So it’s best not to reapply makeup. Also if you have acne, it’s best to use a milk or gel cleanser, no foam cleanser as these tend to strip the skin. Some acne users like the feeling of squeaky clean skin, however this can lead to more acne. Because your skin will be tricked into thinking it needs to produce more oil as it no longer has any good oil on the face. So the skin goes into overdrive and produces more oil which means more acne. So use a more gentle cleanser. And you need to apply a serum (a vitamin B serum) is amazingggg for acne sufferers. It will regulate oil flow, slow down oil production which means less acne! It will also help to restore you skin barrier, the outer layer of your skin which is compromised from the acne. Once that is restored from the vitamin b, the lil eco system on your face will be happy and be a good environment. And lock in the serum with a moisturiser. One that doesn’t have a lot of artificial fragrance or have alcohols. But also, acne can be from hormones ect and not just treating topically is the only answer, but it will definitely help! I’m a beauty therapist by the way haha, so i thought I’d just give a lil but of advice. Hope this can help in any little way 🥰 Check out the KZbinr Cassandra banks! She used to have really painful acne but she treated it and has alot of great advice on how to deal with acne!
