ASMR: 🌸 I GOT CHINESE HANFU MAKEUP | BLACK WOMAN ASMR

Hello everyone, this was an interesting experience for me. I initially thought it was a normal MUA but when I got there, it was actually a Chinese hanfu makeup artist, she only specializes in it. It was nice learning about the Chinese culture and why certain garments are worn. I am very sensitive towards people’s cultures and so I asked a couple of Chinese colleagues if I could wear a hanfu and they were more than happy with it. My boss also encourages us when it’s Chinese festivals to wear Hanfu’s. Additionally, the shops owns two parrots, i apologize for that. I hope you'll enjoy the video 💕✨

This's what culture's about! It's to be shared among people to bring up understanding and knowledge and to learn and enjoy as well as get rid of prejudice and judgement. Not to be boxed in by one people and forbidden to others. At the end of the day, there are many cultures that have been shared in history and intertwined with others I'm so glad you all enjoyed the sharing of this culture!

I like your positive think however in some cases we need to be mindful and respectful to why some people choose to not share their culture or some parts of their culture. I believe that is the main thing when it come to culture, respecting one another's difference and decisions.

@@nandi_m04 Well, I do respect that. However, take black women and braids as an example. It's called a DUTCH braid 1st of all and 2nd of all, they weren't the only ppl who braided their hair. If we delve into it no one actually can tell anyone that they can't partake in a culture. If 1 person says they can, there will be other ppl who say they can't because they think the culture is solely theirs, when in fact, it's not. I'm not saying there's no culture that belongs to 1 people but if there is, then I can for sure say they can tell others not to partake in it. However, when you have multiple peoples who share a culture then it gets complicated. Not to mention, if you want someone to be able to learn and understand about your culture, limiting it to only your people(I believe) will only push others away

​​@@mubina6944Can we pleasee stop comparing Dutch braids to Box braids as if they are the same thing when they are not. As a black woman myself I personally do not mind if people outside of our race wear our hairstyles, if your hair can handle it then by all means go for it. However let's not use Dutch braids as some argument when the only similarities Dutch and box braids have are the fact that they are braids and they aren't even the same type of braid. A Dutch braid(s) typically consists of one or two "inside-out" French braids, while box braids are multiple sectioned off braids with fake hair added to it. Black women aren't claiming and gatekeeping the entire concept of braids, We are simply claiming our culture which is box braids nothing more nothing less.

I'm just trying to say that many cultures and elements of culture are intertwined and can't be separated. I absolutely agree with you. I'm just pointing out to someone who commented, that you can't say oh only these ppl braid hair so only they can wear braids, or only these ppl wear this type of clothing so you can't wear it. It's different when someone wears or does something to mock someone, to me that's cultural appropriation. But we, as long as we respect it, can still wear the clothing of another culture for example

I just had a thought and I wonder how completely far off I am, but the pink under and around the eye is similar to geisha makeup I've seen. It does look gorgeous, but what is the real purpose or meaning? I just remembered hearing how men have an actual physiological reaction to women's tears. I'm sure a woman crying also plays havoc with some men's primal instincts. I wonder if it's a way of delicately manipulating men's sensibilities and heartstrings.

You need to trim your split ends, and use moisture rich conditioner and hair strengthening and growth essential oils, sis. Otherwise, painfully overlooking the animal abuse (keeping Bird's captive in cages), I enjoyed the video. You have healthy skin. And she did a good job.
