I can listen to and even watch these too when I have a migraine, depending on how bad it is. Usually, I watch and/or listen to these once I have had my triptan and nausea meds and ice packs and the headache is starting to release a bit and they are so relaxing during that time!

My mom and sister get them twice a month. My sister is usually passed out for the whole day. My mom can be like that for 3 days. I experience then once-twice a year. I'm so lucky. When they come they are literally debilitating. You can't get up because you are in so much pain and weirdly nauseous. I can't imagine people dealing with this regularly. Kudos to you migraine warriors!!

Hi I'm giving relief vibes to all suffering from migraines. I suffer too and weather triggers them. Here are my tips. Press in circles between your thumb and first finger the webbed part. Look for the sore spots and repeat both hands. Also check out SCM self massage. That's really changed my life! I use Vicks rubbed where it hurts on my face, for me the eyebrow bone, and underneath my eye sinus cavity to my ear. Lots and lots of ice water, start pumping it. It's usually a sign I'm dehydrated. Lastly I use Biofreeze on my neck and shoulder if I'm also in pain there. The smell will also calm me. Lots of sleep!!

I get middle-strong migraines: Weak enough that I can still treat them with Ibuprofen, but strong enough to ruin my day. I sometimes get a bit of nausea with them, but throwing up is very rare (has happened, though). And I notice that the pain goes down a little when I relax, but goes up when I put strain onto myself. So, I would probably like such a treatment. The problem would be getting from my home to the spa and then back. ^ ^

I think the idea of the massage is to prevent migraines or reduce the frequency of them, as opposed to the massage treating a migraine at the time of happening.
