Yeah!, informal/spoken Urdu and informal/spoken Hindi are the same language, formal hindi and formal hindi are different

Not the same there are a lot of words that are different plus the accent can vary. There are words that can have the same meaning but each country uses different synonyms that are popular in their region. Tho it is true if you know one language you can almost understand the other.
