I have mixed feelings about this comeback: Bet on Me was average, Pshychic Lover was above average, Kill Shot was incredible and the other three songs (especially Bratty) were awful. Some parts of Cake were cool though, but just because of the choreo… I don’t understand why JYP gives ITZY the most mind blowing choreos and the worst songs… The agency recently disappointed me a lot: since DICE NMIXX lost their signature style (plus LMLT and YDS were annoying asf); ITZY’s music went from incredibly cool and mind-blowing to mediocre/below average; XDINARY HEROES’s b-sides have been anonymous (HELLO WORLD! was so good, but now the songs lost personality); SKZ keep on making the best music just because they’re a self producing group; TWICE are the only group whose songs are made by the company and that is as good as always if not better… does someone know what’s up with the agency?

It's so interesting how different music tastes can be! I loved this comeback and wouldn't consider it to be mediocre at all. I feel like it really had the Itzy confidence and sound they are know for. And I love Bratty! LOL I've enjoyed most of the songs coming from JYP GGs lately, including LMLT and Misamo's recent debut. Jihyo's solo sounds promising too. I liked Nmixx change ups, but I feel like that could get old pretty quickly so I'm not surprised they branched out. I haven't cared for Skz releases at all over the past few years and I did not enjoy Xdinary Heroes debut so I haven't check in with them. So we might be complete opposites - how funny!
