1, awesome as always. 2, I didn't even know there was such a thing as a blending marker. Did it pick up any residual from the other colors or did it stay clean? 3, if you're looking for more to branch out with, I've always enjoyed the sounds/art of glass dip pens and ink haha

I didn't know about the blender either, this was my first time using markers. It surprisingly did stay mostly clean, it got fully clean after 2-3 strokes, very efficient. Ill think about the glass dip pens, thanks for the idea!

How is it working with these markers? Is it like working with watercolors? I'm not an artist, so it looks like watercolors in a pen to me, more accurate, but slower to work with. Are they easier to use than the colored pencils? I hope you enjoyed using them because the ASMR qualities are fantastic. The sound of capping and uncapping them is a great trigger, though probably a hassle for you who has to "wait" to get the color onto the paper every time you want a different hue. The final work is beautifully vivid. I thought this medium would force you to take an impressionistic style; however, what you completed is dreamy, yet so detailed.

Glad you like the sounds! I had to experiment a bit before filming since this was my first time working with markers. Initially I tried a more impressionistic style, but I’m never satisfied with those, so I had to figure out how to add more detail. As for the similarities to watercolor, I guess it’s kind of similar since I worked from light to dark here, and there’s no room for mistakes. That said, I’ve never really used watercolors seriously, so I couldn’t say for sure. I might use these markers in the future, it was definitely a challenge, but really interesting!
