What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own ASMR channel, Lloyd?

To truly understand what asmr is. I wonder how many people have actually experienced real life asmr. It’s an incredible experience and not many “artists” can replicate the real thing.

Focus on being slow and deliberate. The fast tapping asmr is like nails on a chalkboard for many people

I would say to definitely have a calm peaceful demeanor when filming, do everything as gentle and relaxing as possible. As for set up, lighting….not too dark and not too bright, camera….use what ya got ( I use an iPhone) but make sure it has good quality, microphone….(I use a blue yeti with a plug and play adapter) but you can window shop…plenty of good quality mics out there. Also for ASMR….truly understand what it’s about.

I've gotten all my stuff used, but I have two samson q2u microphones, a focusrite Scarlett 2i2 interface (for binaural sound), a green screen, and a mount dog 14 inch ring light. (Hunting for used stuff can net some great deals) My camera would likely be my phone, which is a galaxy s23. For editing, I have premiere pro and photoshop. Do you have any specific pointers with that information? I know that you use multiple rooms to record, but all I have is my very-not-sound-treated dorm.
