I have a few. Namely my dream home. A remote cabin in the woods, probably near a ski-resort or a trail I could carve out myself every winter. Hopefully I can get a good signal with Data and WiFi and all that jazz. With me and my partner. That would be amazing. I want the vibe to be sort of modern but feel like the less terrifying version of the cabin from “The Cabin in the Woods”.

I’ve just spent 10 hours putting up a new green screen and 12 hours in after effects playing around with test ideas, according to my KZbin history in that time I listened to FIFTEEN VFX videos from Red Giant - nearly all using programs I’ve never touched but I was buzzing from the possibilities none the less. THEN - just before I go to bed this innocent little looking video from my buddy Ollie pops up - I’ll check that out I think to myself - he never does boring videos but HOT DAMN was not ready for that. My happy place doesn't exist right now, but I plan on making something as similar to it as possible. Imagine a house. From the outside you can see it's rustic and looks a bit spooki, but the inside is very different. It's so warm, so cozy and lovely taht you never wanna leave. Fuzzy blankets, carpets, a fireplace. Books, so so many books. Hot chocolate by the fireplace. Unfinished board games all over the place. A place for those nights when you're all alone and trying to figure yourself and your emotions and a place for when your friends are over and you're having fun, laughing, joking, living in the moment. That's basically it. Sorry for making it too long.
One of my favorite vacations was when our family rented a beach house on a lake. The last night everyone except my husband and I left. We spent the evening reading, watching the sun set and listening to the water lapping onto the shore. Just bliss. Thanks for reminding me of that wonderful evening.

You, once again, are amazing. Thank you! My happy place is on my front deck in a comfy lawn chair in very late spring. I can feel the sun warming my skin. Next to me, in the shadow of my arm rest, is an ice cold beer. On the other side is my scraggly old mutt wriggling on his back awaiting belly scratches. A cool gentle breeze occasionally tickles my skin, and sometimes it brings with it the soft sweet scent of my yellow heirloom roses. I listen to the birds calling and the leaves rustling in the tree canopies. I empty my mind of all the crap life has dumped on and thrown at me, and I simply exist in that moment.

My happy place has existed in my head for around 20 years. It's an island with beaches leading to rainforest. In the center, there's a large flower-filled meadow, surrounding a large mountain made of ice. I don't know why it's made of ice. There's a village somewhere on the island that I've never actually seen but it exists. And a large house that belongs to me but I only know what my bedroom looks like. The other rooms never stay the same.

Warm enough to make the sand warm but not too warm that I'm sweating. The sound of the waves is the most comforting sound on earth, and i just walk along the beachside looking for shells until i lay a towel down and fall asleep to the sound of the ocean.

Loved this, as an artist I've painted mine before and it never quite fits as your minds sees it. I see my happy place as the place I use in mediation. When I was 18 I was lucky enough to travel around Australia, my happy place is loosely based on time spent in the Blue mountains. There's a point you can hike to that overlooks an ancient foresr, mountains continue into the distincs, the forest below you is full of life and your on this ledge a the mouth of a cave. It's usually a clear night, the skies blanketed with stars, you have the southern lights in the sky the most wonderful of colours and a full moon. The cave is out by a network of luminest crystal s, it's only smalls but if you go in its warm and cozy, there are soft blankets on the floor to curl up in, hot chocolate ready always, art supplies and books.what more could a girl want
