I feel stressed because I feel that I'm too comfortable being on my own. It makes me worry about losing contact with the world. Now it's still my active choice. But at some point people around me will dissappear if I don't keep in touch.

I recently broke up with my best friend of two years bc she was toxic and not good for my mental and physical health, but part of me feels guilty or like I made a bad choice or I’m being picky. Could you possibly touch on this subject?

I have a hard time trying to express myself. I often cry when someone tells me I'll be okay or when someone actually trys to comfort me because well I've never had that type if comfort growing up. "It's a phase", "people will think you're crazy", "grow up". Those words were said to me, since then I started to hold everything in. How can I refresh my mind and start to move forward? This really helped in a way, I feel like a weight had lifted off my shoulders...as cliche as that sounds haha :) thank you nameless nomad💜

I don't know what this is but I think I should look into it because I haven't been able to describe how I've felt. And it's been ever since I got drugged by a group of people who were meant to be my best friends and I'm 16. Since then I've been working and nothing feels normal, time jist disappears and nothing and no one feels real. Then after things happen I look back and I'm all patchy with what actually happened and didn't. I know I just laid all of this out in KZbin comments but I feel like if you read this and reply then atleast someone will understand. But I don't know, just trying to grasp onto some feeling of not being alone with now what I think he's been happening for nearly a year straight -Rourke :)

Staying stuck at home for so long really gave me some perspective on how I used to interact on social gatherings. I used to spin the wheel like crazy thinking all these "whataretheythinkingofmerightnow" thoughts. And it was so tiering. So wasteful. To think i could have really experienced great things if only I could get out of my head. Moving forward now, when it's safe to meet a lot of people again, I'll really enjoy my time. I don't think like that anymore so it'll truly be great

Thank you for this video I struggle with panic attacks and anxiety and it sucks because no one listens to me! If they do they'll try to compare it to other people, who makes me feel very alone. Another thing that I find helps with anxiety or.. overwhelming emotions (like when you start to get frustrated about something) sucking on or chewing on a peppercorn or two (I use the black ones) really helps. It's very calming just to feel the tiney, wrinkly, cool bead in your mouth that slowly starts to taste more and more as it sits with you. I dont know why it helps, but for me, it literally seems to help almost immediately. If you're going to crunch it up, have some water to drink or head to the sink so you can rinse your mouth out, though 😅 not super pleasant. It really does the job, though, to get you to take a step back from anxious thoughts.

I'm moving out for college and having to face and accept the reality that I will have to share my room with someone makes me want to cry. What that means to me is I will have no escape from socializing, no time to unwind, no break from pretending, nowhere to be alone, no freedom to cry every night. I will have to suppress my emotions even in my so called "house", I will always feel watched and there will be no moment where i'm not self concsious, I will have no personal space. This is a nightmare. What stresses me out the most is not being able to talk out loud, to cry out loud...for years, and I know what bottling up my emotions do to me- it gets me more mentally fucked by the day. After a long day of having to interact with people and being drained off of my energy I will have nowhere I can finally sigh in relief, at no time of the day will there be a stop to my act. Idrk what to do.
