i could rant about all these movies but i will hold myself back and talk about only one! my thoughts on Speak No Evil. It was alright, and I love James McAvoy; he's one of my favorite actors, but honestly, the original Speak No Evil is so much darker and better. This remake felt too fast-paced and had a way different 3rd act. So yeah, I recommend you check out the original if you have not seen it.

I have watched the original annnnnd visually it’s far superior BUT simply couldn’t build the tension that the American one did for me! Yes, the American version is a bit in your face at times and a bit extra but it was a more enjoyable experience for me. Basically I wish I could mix the two films together to get the ultimate ‘Speak no Evil’ :)

I watched the Holdovers last week. I thought it was feel good and heartwarming. Not the best movie ever tbh made me smile though
