It’s impossible to determine if a person is peaceful from the manner with which they speak or how they appear. Peacefulness is an internal mental state. You can be asleep and appear in a peaceful state but you’re experiencing a horrific and terrifying dream.

Just read up on it his wife was a heavy alcoholic and although John Butler had an affair he admits as a devout catholic that he had committed adultery but he also said that he still would have left her either way. We all make mistakes but Jesus forgives we’re not perfect.

My spiritual teacher in India has no ego, no sense of self, therefore wild animals approach her without fear. Even snakes come to her and allow themselves to be touches, or even curl up in her lap.
