We’ve known why animals run from humans for a comically long time. This is why people don’t just stop thinking. You spend your life pondering the most basic concepts and make up your own reasons as to why things are the way they are. Then you pretend that you know things that no one else does.
@MM-uv6kb4 ай бұрын
Indeed, wild animals run away from us, because they sense our egos. Animals don't have egos, they're pure love. My spiritual teacher in India has no ego, no sense of self, therefore wild animals approach her without fear. Even snakes come to her and allow themselves to be touches, or even curl up in her lap. No ego, just pure love. We'll all get there someday.

The reason wild animals run away from humans is because of evolution. Humans evolved into amazing hunters because they could use tools. Passive wild animals that got too close tended to get eaten, aggressive wild animals were dispatched in defence or if that failed hunting parties would seek them out in the wild to eliminate the threat. Over hundreds and thousands of years of this, wild animals that had a natural genetic weariness of humans tended to be the ones more likely to survive and pass on the same genetic mistrust. That's why all wild animals will rarely mess with humans, it can happen but it's rare.
