This is a small pet peeve of mine. The word "groovy" was directly related to the TV show The Monkees, which ran from 1966 to 1968. After that, nobody - NOBODY - could say the word "groovy" without cringing. It became immediately cringeworthy. Immediately. Eventually you could say it, but you could ONLY say it ironically, and that didn't even happen until probably at least 10 years after it became cringy. If you are filming anything about the 1970s, PLEASE remove "groovy" from your vocabulary. PLEASE. It does not belong there. Spread the word. Thank you. 🙂
