I was wondering, how do you keep your whispering so soothing? I figure you have to rest your voice (lol I definitely don't expect you to make videos every single day 😊) I think all of you that make these videos are very considerate. And I'm sorry if it gets old, but I personally like to thank you guys all the time. So thank you for always taking the time to share all these interesting topics, and for always bringing a very safe and soothing voice!

Hello Kate! I only discovered you this evening and I’ve already left a comment there, but I’ve just seen your KZbin page?…anyway! I can’t begin to tell you how happy this discovery makes me! I’m going to tell everyone I know to come here and listen and watch your videos because I feel you’re being very kind to provide such a wonderful service. I mentioned in my other comment that your site reminded me of being read to as a child, but this sadly didn’t happened for me until I was 11yrs of age and then by my grandfather’s second wife who was such a lovely, lovely person but we only had a Paddington Bear book and it was over very quickly! So now I shall listen contentedly henceforth and this will, I m sure , make up for any family shortcomings that happened during the middle sixties in a fairly dis functional British family! Thanks once again! 😊

5:20 Those notes in the margins were definitely for Tolkien himself, and not for the publisher. This drawing was only a rough sketch that he intended to reference for a later illustration that he ended up never making. He never intended to publish this particular sketch. According to The Annotated Hobbit, Tolkien was really disappointed when they used this sketch as the cover to a 1966 edition of the book.
