It depends on your preference. Pounded yam or poundo is like a more superior kind of fufu for some people. It’s smooth to the touch. Garri is a general favourite, it’s got texture to it, but glides through with ease. Garri is made from cassava. There’s plantain fufu, which many consider to be the healthier option. Just like all healthy foods out there, it doesn’t have the best texture. Ghanaians tend to mix plantain with corn flour or so..
