this is the perfect example of why you remind me of sasse. No big flamboyant clicking and smacking. Just something simplistic yet amazing. The warm presence , the focus on the asmr, the attention to the meal. it's like thats been lost in a lot of asmr channels. hope that answers the question from the other video :)

You are so right since when has ASMR become about close-up of lip smacking

Is this a specific version of the mashed potatoes or you just make it like this every time? In Czech Republic we add whole milk when whisking the mashed potatoes to make it smooth and creamy :) can't eat it any other way :D

I made it with milk once and it tasted so GOOD. Will definitely keep the dairy product in for future attempts. Adding mustard powder is just something my husband read somewhere 👌

I’ll have to try mustard powder next time I make mashed potatoes. That first bite of your mashed potatoes though! Awesome video.

You probably like it ur way but if you want ur gravy a bit thicker you can add some bisto not sure if u have it where ur from but just mix some of it with water in a cup and pour and whisk it into ur gravy and it will thicken up right away

It was bistro in the gravy 😂 it was probably more water than I would have liked it that day.

Is hubby eating quietly beside you? Or am I hearing things? Lol either way I love the sounds in this video 😍

Yep, it was him eating in the video. I’d never edit that out as my videos are true reflections of our ordinary people’s everyday life. He eats like a chipmunk next to me 😂

OKAY I see you mustard powder. But, was there no milk or cream in the mash? I’ll try mustard powder and oregano in mine and he needs to add cream or full-fat milk to his! And then we shall see. It’ll be like a perfect combo of both!

Well spotted mash guru! I do think a bit of dairy will be the cherry on top of my sundae. I did add milk to my mash for the salmon video and it tasted fabulous. Yeah, definitely try a bit of mustard powder and it cuts through the creaminess of the mash 😋 Together we’ve conquered the world of potatoes 😂

@@AweSoMeateR Greek yogurt (instead of cream or milk) also works great. It gives mash a lovely texture and if seasoned well can work like mayo. And you even get some extra protein. ;)
