Its funny you mention Liverpool while eating this food. The best bangers and mash I ever had was in a little pub in Liverpool city centre, think its called the Beehive? This was about 15 years ago.

They do have some very low key yet quality pubs in Liverpool. A city I would always revisit the first opportunity I get.
