Circling back to this comment now-so sorry for the delay, Katie! I’ve been losing my grip a little these days, too, and falling behind on everything (clearly)-and I’m not even in school anymore! It’s doesn’t feel fair, how much harder the experience of school is for some people-and I’ve definitely always been one of those people. Every semester, it was a struggle just to make it through. It IS finite, and someday you will be through it-but knowing that doesn’t make it any less stressful in the meantime! Please keep hanging in there-I don’t have to know any of the specifics to know that you’re amazing, you’re doing your best, & that’s more than enough. I’m keeping you in my thoughts! Let me know if there’s a specific type of video you enjoy that I can bump to the top of my ‘to film’ list, to help you decompress! ❤️♥️

I mean I can’t think of any other asmrtists as engaged with their audience as you! Remme, darling! What an interesting curation! Love! Also i adore the way you speak about people. That you’re inclusive in terms of what encompasses a celebrity crush and that you don’t speak ill of even well known and privileged individuals who may have treated you very poorly! I agree that it’s unwise and honestly uncomfortable to talk badly about people. i try to make it a a practice of pretending like any person I’m speaking about is right next to me. And if i would still say it, then i will continue. i just think that it’s not good energy to put out into the world. Some people talk about others to blow off steam or to bond with other people which i can somewhat empathize with, but it’s just not for me. Hope all is well!

I totally agree! I can definitely be guilty of gossiping, but I try to keep it in the energetic realm of ‘wow, aren’t people so interesting!’ rather than anything too shaming. I was bummed to hear about Sheri Appleby-I have a tattoo based on one of her shows :( I generally try to separate actor from character so it’s not horribly surprising to hear that she’s like that, but still disappointing. I wish that celebrities were held to a higher standard of how they treat others because you’re right, she didn’t know you and she didn’t know what you might be going through at the time. Always pays to be kind. Great video as always :)

I know, it is a bummer! But I agree that it makes sense to separate the actor from the character & story-after all, films & TV shows are the products of lots of different people in collaboration! And it’s totally possible that she was just having a bad day. I’ve had those days for sure-and on occasion even subjected strangers to undue grouchiness. I think we can all be guilty of that from time to time-but you’re right that it feels fair to expect extremely privileged people like celebrities to lead the way with their kindness.
