I really like how you used the structure, details and subtle motions of your face and hands here to help give the intended feeling of the video! It's very impressive and effective. If your camera had gotten the memo and focused more on your hands in the middle sequence where you start using them on the viewer to bring that detail focus to them for a bit, I think it would have been PERFECT. Still fantastic as is. ^v^

this reminds me of one of those "friend of a friend" stories i heard once about a guy who did a bunch of acid and then looked in a mirror - thought his face was melting, and in his desperate attempts to push it back up (scraping upwards with his nails, grabbing/pulling his skin, etc.), ended up scarring his face. it was probably meant as a "don't do drugs" cautionary tale, but it's really more of a "if you're gonna do acid, maybe avoid mirrors" cautionary tale.

The skin stuff reminds me of a nightmare I had when I was really young where a baba-yaga type hag lady put a curse on my and my skin was very easy to break and sensitive and 1 finger being pushed into my arm gently would go through my skin, through my muscle, through my bone.
