My mother went skiing or snowshoeing or something when she was younger with friends in Toronto. She wanted to stay a bit longer after her friends went home. She stayed out too long and started to get cold. She went to, I think it was Kingsway, really nice houses and she asked for help. They didn't want to help her because they said she'd get their floors dirty. She developed hypothermia and luckily was treated in the hospital in time. This made me think of that story. I found myself thinking thank goodness this fictional person in your video was saved. Thanks Dee!

After a long day of searching for Big Foot in the Canadian mountains, I finally made my tent for the night. I heard a strange noise outside and to my surprise, it was Big Foot that had found me! He rashed and thrashed but I managed to flee. Hurt and broken I found a camp, I could barley see but it was woman holding a lamp. She whispered to me I’m here to your rescue, I see you’re hurt and wandering askew. Later when I awoke she had completely fixed me and I felt brand new! 😁 Great video Dee!!!

This color/hue (?) of lighting, and the blue lighting you use sometimes, are so calming for me. And that snowy night window and sweater really add to the comfy feeling 😊 You may have subliminally gotten in your own head by saying "Can you feel this scratching?" - it made your nose itchy 😉 I'm a bit addicted to 'cover one eye and follow the light with the other eye' right now. So this video just fed my addiction (gasp 😲 you are light dealer!) I used this video for comfort after my Grandpa recently passed a few days ago. It hurts so much, I miss him so much. Sometimes I'm scared I'll never get over it. But I'm glad I went to visit and talk with him many times in the last week of his life. I'm glad he was able to die at home like how he wanted. Now I just have to get used to the silence of him not being here. Thank you for this loving video and I love the poem at the end by William Carlos Williams. I've never heard it before but it reminds me so very much of my friend who I talk to about him. I should show it to her sometime to let her know how I feel. I think she'd like that.

Nurse Dee, It is reassuring to know that the Night Nurse is on the job for a mountain rescue. Checking the person with a stethoscope is the right thing to do. Using the penlight to check for for any problems is wise, and you found frostbite , treating it quickly. You also check the eyes. You do a thorough exam. The wet towel can bring relief, and the cream is soothing.Your words and super soft voice brings comfort and a soothing effect. Beautiful poem you read to help with emotional support. The backdrop lighting is effective in bringing a relaxed atmosphere with the candles a low lights. Wonderful verse added. I love this idea, this video has a very relaxed ambiance.

Your colour grading is ON POINT here, Dee! The visuals look absolutely amazing. Also absolutely *love* the aspect ratio you're using now, and the content... well, it's you. So it's pretty decent. 😜 I was going to email you about the whole panning thing, but it seems you've near enough solved it here! So I'll save you from another Chris Malone Essay™. Basically, make sure you're equidistant from both mics with them both angled the same way, ensure the gain on each is identical and that they're metering the same when you're centre-frame, and make sure Premier's not doing panning/adjustments that you're not aware of. You're basically nailing it - so no need for me to bore you any more 😂
@TheHealingRoomASMR2 жыл бұрын
Haha thank you, Chris!! I think I fixed it pretty much all the way in this video. Did it sound better?
@DaggerThrasher2 жыл бұрын
@@TheHealingRoomASMR It absolutely does (just popped on my monitor headphones to listen properly). You've been working on your EQ-ing, haven't you? Bit of compression, also? The low-mid sounds better - less "boxy", as your voice has a natural boost in that region, and the top end is smoother and less sibilant than before. Overall, this sounds warmer and easier on the ear. You've done a fantastic job!
@TheHealingRoomASMR2 жыл бұрын

@@TheHealingRoomASMR You got it 😊 You'll naturally get better and more confident with EQ and compression over time, the more you do it; don't expect yourself to master it overnight (because nobody does!). All I'll say - and I know I'm like a stuck record on this, and I'm sorry - is to invest in a pair of monitoring headphones. You'll be amazed at how much easier it is to do EQ when you can hear accurately, and you'll get better results, too. Takes the guesswork out. Can't recommend it enough (and the same with earbuds for when you're filming). You're absolutely killing it, Dee. Please be encouraged! And you totally deserved that pizza and candy the other night, so don't beat yourself up - in case you were planning on doing so 👍
