its been a long while since i listened to your videos i stopped due to life problems and mental health issues, i always toke your videos as being with a very very close friend who's sharing good vibes and energies. i usually put my headphones on and just relax and end up falling asleep peacefully because there is no judgmental vibes that come from your videos or your voice. thank you scott for all your videos and sharing your voice with the world

+Andrew Phoenix I hope you have found some support for your issues. I too suffer with mental health and depression. I found Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (sorry for the spelling error) to be very helpful. I also see a psychotherapist regularly as I feel it really helps. In the UK we have mind.org and other avenues to seek support. Mind.org is a great service and I hope people consider making donations to them over the Patreon accounts of ASMr artists, like myself. It is funny to me that you don't find me to be judgemental. I am hyper critical of some things in life, I guess I don't present it here. I am very anti capitalist. I feel people have been confused and have very weak values and ethics, generally. I guess I don't push that negativity out into the world but seek to find ways to express myself in a positive way. I have had many bad facebook 'discussions' though. Sometimes I can't help myself - I have to say what I think. For example, many ASMR artists claim to want to help people with anxiety and depression and offer cup tapping as a 'therapy' or 'help.' I get cross if they don't also offer links to charities that can REALLY help the source of the anxiety/depression and not just alleviate the symptoms. Many of these artists also solicit funds via patreon but do not suggest people support charities. The fuckers. lol. :D Anyway. Sorry for revealing my judgemental side in this comment. hahahaha. Just thought I would add some balance. - I do think of you as a good friend too. Whenever I record I imagine I am talking to just one person, 'you' - . Keep on keeping on. :)

+True Binaural & ASMR i'm on prozac and vistaril. i also see a therapist. what i meant about judgmental is your intent isn't to make the person whos viewing or listening to your videos or thoughts or what your sharing feel uncomfortable about who they are and what they are feeling internally or physically or what they identify as. :) but again thank you

Bless you. I don't think people should feel uncomfortable about themselves, no. Exactly right. I do care about people. I worked for 10 years as a hairdresser. I was not just a stylist but also a friend, confidant, therapist etc. lol. I learned that I really love people more than hairstyling. :)

Can you do a whisper video with tapping wood with a wooden spoon like Ephemeral rift did in his joker video??? It's the only thing I've ever found that helps my migraines. But he sometimes does to many things I want crisp straight whispering like you do! Please thank you so much

5:27 I've watched this video hundreds of times now, and I've decided to finally comment a thought on this particular part. I'm not sure if you did this intentionally, but there's a funny juxtaposition that occurs here. While mentioning that you appreciate integrity in ASMR videos where people speak honestly and from the heart, you use the word 'like' a lot and there is a valley-girl vibe or speech pattern in the sentence. The following sentence, after you strongly say 'vice versa', you mention what you don't like in ASMR in a serious tone. Always gives me a strong ASMR response in that portion of the video. Describing the genuine behaviours that you enjoy in an ASMR video, in a somewhat disingenuous / playful way (I wouldn't be able to relax if a person kept saying 'like' in an ASMR whisper video repeatedly), and then sharply describing the disingenuous behaviours what you don't like in a very genuine way. With how artistic you seem to be, this contrasting section of this video always seems intentional to me, but who knows the truth of that other than you, haha.
