What is ASMR? According to Wikipedia:
Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR), sometimes auto sensory meridian response, is a tingling sensation that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine. A pleasant form of paresthesia, it has been compared with auditory-tactile synesthesia and may overlap with frisson.
ASMR signifies the subjective experience of "low-grade euphoria" characterized by "a combination of positive feelings and a distinct static-like tingling sensation on the skin". It is most commonly triggered by specific auditory or visual stimuli, and less commonly by intentional attention control.

I know as they get bigger, a lot of ASMR channels tend to move on in getting microphones that can pick up soft voices without the whitenoise in the background as a way of making the quality higher but honestly I prefer it. there's a really nice "homemade" vibe that videos which have whitenoise in the background from high microphone gain.

The ONE thing that gives me tingles & sleep relaxation is close-up REAL eye exam. Period! And you do just that. Everyone else SAY “Realistic”. But, you’re the TRUE real eye exams. And the closeup partial mumbling are my favorites. LITERALLY only ones that Give me the tingles.

I’ve been searching most of my life for an answer to what these tingles are and whether not I was alone in feeling. Then out of nowhere, ASMR started getting insanely popular and I was so excited. I wasn’t alone and millions of people were searching for the same thing. Anyway my point is, after almost 30 years of searching and 2 or 3 years of consuming asmr on KZbin, I can say without hesitation that SRP is the absolute best artist on here. To me that’s saying a lot because I struggled for a long time to get into male asmr but you changed that. Maybe because you literally do it for a living. Maybe it’s the accent or maybe the real knowledge. Either way you da best!

Tried to watch last night but couldn't make it past the first minute before I was snoozing 😴 so 2nd attempt today and pleased to say it did not disappoint. Not sure If you've changed your microphone settings but it was crystal clear and picked up every tingly word. Also the background was absolutely silent which I find can sometimes be a distraction from relaxing fully (although I know sometimes background noise cannot be helped) anyway thoroughly enjoyed it. My eyes doctor is a very old gentleman he’s 78 the most relaxing men I’ve ever met. He’s very sweet he whispers and talks me trough every step. This reminded me of him lol he also told me to please not touch my eyes with my dirty hands
