ASMR Organizing a Binder About Egyptian History • No Talking

In this video, all I'm doing is shuffling paper. But it's no random stash of paper. It's a collection of fact sheets about Egyptian history, and I want to organize them in a 3-ring binder. First, I need to sort them by category, before storing them in the binder.
I discovered this binder at a library book sale and remember being instantly intrigued. Pyramids! Pharaohs! Hieroglyphs! Papyrus! It didn't matter than I already had about 20 kilos of books in my arms. This binder needed to go home with me, too, no matter what.
Don't ask me why, but these fact sheets about Egyptian history manage to mesmerize me, but at the same time they creep me out, too. It seems like we've only just scratched the surface with regard to what we know about Ancient Egypt. So much mystery still to unravel.

Instant tingles, Kat! Amazing sounds and beautiful nails. I totally remember those types of binder sets, too. In the 90s, we'd get sample pages (on all different subjects - cooking, gardening, and clearly history, though I never saw any of those) in the mail, along with an offer to subscribe (for a limited-time special price, of course) and get 2 new cards every week (or month, I don't recall the frequency), and they'd throw in the binder FOR FREE. 😄 I was tempted by a couple of the topics, but I was too good at math; the cost to fill one binder was outrageous compared to books of a similar size. An Egyptian one like this would've sorely tempted me, though.

Isn't it funny how anything you get for "free" in the mail eventually turns out to be ultra expensive? 🙂 So are you telling me you didn't even sign up for the gardening cards plus binder? How could you resist? 😉 Or did you only later in life get bitten by the gardening bug?

History is a very fun subject to study and learn about. I myself took US History in college and loved it. Egyptian history is interesting too especially the pyramids. Relaxing as always 😁

I’m so curious, where do you get all of your paper materials? Newspapers, magazines, loose leaf folders, etc. etc., is everything yours? If so you have a wonderfully large and extensive collection of print media. A hobby?

Hey, Super Darren! 🤗 I'm glad to see you pop up here again. How's summer in Canada? I'm trying to enjoy all it has to offer, more than I did in previous years. Just by being in nature and going on daytrips whenever possible. Temperatures have been tropical here for the last couple of weeks, which probably justifies laziness, but I'm trying to resist. 😀 Thank you for checking out the video! @@PoisabloomASMR Lol! When I think of you, the word “laziness” definitely does NOT come to mind 🙂. We’ve had great weather here too, temps in the mid to high 20’s. Would that be considered tropical? I’m not sure 🤔. Yes, there’s nothing as serene and tranquil as being in nature. Well, except for your videos, of course 🙂. Our hydrangeas are in bloom in our garden and they’re pretty spectacular, if I must say so myself. We have about 20 and they’re all about 3m tall. For me though, the tomato plant in our tiny veggie garden is my favourite. It’s our first attempt at growing tomatoes and they look amazing. Tomatoes are my favourite vegetable. I know it’s actually a fruit, but I call it a veggie because I eat them with other veggies. Don’t know about you, but a tomato and banana salad doesn’t sound appetizing 😂. 3 meter tall hortensias? And 20 of them? Are you going for a spot in the Guinness World Records Book, Super Darren? 😀 They must look imposing. They're beautiful and quite a popular type of shrub here, too, especially the white and purple/blue ones. Congratulations on a successful tomato plant! Homegrown veggies and fruits tend to have a fuller taste than the mass-produced supermarket ones, don't they? And what's more, you can't get them any fresher than that. 🙂 You're lucky to be enjoying such pleasant summer temperatures. I hope you'll find time to step into the outdoors whenever you can. And if the weather turns, there's always KZbin to escape to. 😉
