Hello dear Sleepy Pearls,
In this video, I'll keep turning pages untill you fall asleep.
Personally, I love videos where someone is gently turning pages in a magazine but I guess in this type of book, it could be possible too.
Now that I've uploaded this, I'll be preparing two fantasy role plays for the coming weeks, including the Dark Hypnotist part 2 ;-)

I actually still listen to tapes, I like making mix tapes- it's just perfect, like a story in two chapters. Sometimes people want pictures- not of my face, but of my hand holding the walkman! Yesterday some kids asked why what I listened to music on didn't tell time. Ah well, guess it's exotic (until, like vinyl, it comes back into fashion).

This video has high replay value. I've listened to it six times so far. I think the reason this one is so effective is because it has a combination of things going on simultaneously: 1. Paper on paper sounds 2. Skin on paper sounds 3. Calming voice 4. Words that stimulate mental visualization. (Counting sheep effect?) I theorize that since the mind has to constantly shift focus between these different (audio) stimuli, this contributes to it wearing out faster. Anyway, thanks for making these and keep up the good work.

Sleeping Pearl ASMR don't worry about time. Your doing very well as u can see by your 10,000!!! Subs . If u saw that many people at once you'd realize how many people that is. N u help every one of them some how . So obviously whatever your doing is working well. Your archive is pretty large , and your pretty creative . So I have no doubts you'll amass quite the collection of videos and subs . ( first poll I've ever seen and it's brilliant ). As for the stories , I think your whispers are extremely addicting . I'm sure tho , u could easily do some videos in both tones , and find good success in both. Personally the whispers knock me out ! lol it's a savior for me cuz I wake up thro the night many times. I really enjoyed this one - the sound and softness of your voice, the slow and deliberate hand movements (the red nails are nice as they draw focus to your hands), and the crisp sound of slowly turning pages. I was asleep in less than 10 minutes. I awoke in the middle of the night (as I often do) and restarted the video again. I think I got to about the same spot before I fell back to sleep. Tonight, I'll fast forward to that spot and start from there. 😊. As always, thank you for the time and effort you put into your works. I greatly enjoy and appreciate what you do!

Sleeping Pearl ASMR hey sorry for the delay. I didn't notice a difference till you pointed it out, but now the difference sounds significant to me. I'm not an expert, but I use mics for recording videos... not asmr but music. I definitely prefer the intro mic. Your voice is much more balanced plus the sound is just more clean to me... it's nice and crisp. The audio for the book portion is still good, but a little more muffled. It sounds a bit like you might have been a little too close to the mic in that section of audio. The closer you get to certain mics the more "bassy" they get. Also sometimes I can hear a slight "popping" sound from your voice... another indicator you may have been too close. Either that or the mic just isn't as good as the first one. If you don't mind me asking, what different microphones did you use for this video? I'm just curious of what brand and type you chose because the sound overall is really good! I hope my feedback isn't too long and hope it helps you out in some way! :-)

+Dave Rucci Hey Dave, thanks for the feedback and I agree with you. The intro was done with 2 Rode Nt5's and the book was with. the mic of the Zoom H5 very close to my mouth but it's basically 2 little capsules in X Y set-up. Indeed when you get too close it's less crisp. This is an eternal learning process 😁

Sleeping Pearl ASMR you're welcome. Glad I could be of some help. I know I've seen a few asmr artists using the zooms, so I know they're good at 3D, maybe with a little more distance. The Rodes you use have a very impressive sound to me. So much that I am considering getting one in the future. They seem to be getting more popular on KZbin as well. Thanks for providing me with your mic setup! :)
