I hope you enjoy this video! How are you liking this camera angle? I've been continuing to experiment with that.

@ haha thank you. That’s perfect and nice to hear! I’ve just been going back and forth between being in them vs just showing the art. Always interested in hearing what people like :)

It's great. I love your paintings. I listen to your paintings too. Sometimes on repeat and I sleep like a baby on bourbon. 😊

Incredible that you started over almost half way through. I was completely enthralled all the way through. What a cool process.

I paint with acrylics and have watched 100’s of acrylic painting videos on KZbin but you did what none of them do! You showed the common struggle at the start of the piece, you showed the sometimes frustrating beginning where you can’t seem the get what’s in your head or reference, on to the canvas. You showed that it’s ok to just paint over it all and start again AND that is not failing, it’s just all part of the process of creating something you’re happy with. I just loved watching your internal struggle early on as I could wholeheartedly relate to that! Beautiful painting at the end by the way but the struggle to get there was fascinating, well done! Good luck with your channel! Liked and subscribed😉👍

My son is in gifted art at his school and he's getting his first acrylic set this Christmas. I am wondering if you are using any medium with your acrylics like Liquitex or just water? I am not an artist, but I want to help him get started the best way I can. Love the videos!
@kellesabelleАй бұрын
That’s so wonderful to hear. I use water most of the time. I was actually experimenting with a slow dry medium in the first layer which is was what sort of threw me off for a while in this one. I would say it’s probably worth having some in a kit to experiment with.

Hi there havev you never thought of a soft blending brush say 3/4 inches your paintings loog a bit lifeless , you mess around with a 1/2 inch flat brush whic doesnt blend and yo go over and over with no conviction.
@kellesabelleАй бұрын
Thanks - I may look into getting a blending brush. My kit is a little of this and that and I usually just work with what I have and try new things along the way.
