And he didn't exactly pass away on good terms with his mentor either. "He betrayed Me. I invented Wet-On-Wet. I trained him and....He thinks he can do it better." He told The New York Times in '91. I don't think Bob needs mercy on his soul, I don't think that man had a bad fiber in his being. I know people are sometimes complete opposite of what people see when the doors are closed, but I truly feel Bob was as peaceful in private as public. I used to make fun of him when I was a kid, I thought he was funny and the happy little everythings were corny to me at the time. Being older and an artist myself, I look at him and these shows now, and his mentor Bill Alexander, and appreciate them so much more and their talent, and to be able to do these in a 30 min block.... incredible.

Love Bob Ross. For a man to meek and kind is not weakness. We are all called to be "meek and humble of heart." It takes real strength to be positive and to maintain an even temper and comportment.
