My dear, dear, butterfly.. Struggling to close your eyes? A bed full of despair your body lies. A golden angel in disguise. I cry inside to see you tense. Here, take the warmth from my hands. I want to tell you what you are. A big, bright shining star. Didn’t you know? You’re a spec of dust. A soul born from stars filled with lust. Lust of life, so spread your wings. Who knows what the next day brings. The world was meant for you to be shaping. There’s no point of running or escaping. Escaping cannot make you free. I speak the wisdom of the tree. Reaching his roots deep down in soil. Standing up tall, proud of his toil. For one day his twigs will be kissed by clouds, and his little flowers will flourish and sprout. Only for you, my dear butterfly, to spread its nectar. It’s almost like you’re an architector. Having the power to build up new. Look at all the things you can do. Your purpose my dear is to explore and to trust the wind to take you back to the shore. With each little flap you affect your surrounding. Making a change in the worlds expounding. But, don’t be scared, I’m here to help you, in days of struggle when it’s hard to breath through. I will protect you from birds, let me be your shield. Il carry you across a strawberry field. Il put you down on a little leaf, here you can rest endlessly 🦋
