I loved this video for ASMR reasons and I am always a fan of your voice. But also the things you said a really valuable. I roll my eyes at a lot of "positive affirmation" stuff but your advice here is actually perfect. And I know a youtube comment can't change how you feel about yourself, but for what it's worth I think you look great and I really like the hair color and length. The glasses work well with the hair too, I feel! I know how hard it is to feel like you look good, though. I've always struggled with my hair and recently at 30 years old I've finally found a haircut that I think I look good with and it's actually been big for my self-confidence about my looks.

I'm a lifelong computer addict myself and I'm trying to find lasting change. I've gotten rid of my computer a few times but I always get a new one after not too long. It's definitely holding me back from getting a job, finding a relationship, moving forward in life, ect. But at the same time the field I want to work in requires a computer so I fear I'm stuck here

It’s a rough cycle. Finding a balance is tough. When I used to work online, and then game right after, I’d be on the pc like 14 hrs a day. It’s been a series of decisions that weren’t easy to get to a place where I’m OK many days if I don’t touch my pc, but still enjoy it when I can. I’m wishing you lots of luck with your struggle! I sincerely understand how tough it is.

I’ve been watching your videos for a few years and I can empathize with you on so many things - from thick hair and getting an undercut so my scalp can breathe and my overheating sensory issues stop flaring up, to filming content but not releasing it because I’m currently so uncomfortable with my appearance. Recently, I’ve tried to not show too much of myself when I’m filming so that I can focus my energy on the task itself rather than worrying about what my face is doing or how my body looks. I'm so sorry it has taken me so long to reply; I have wanted to, and it's been on my mind, but I have such a hard time being normal when anyone offers me a gift or presents me a gift 😅 I really need to read up on how not to clam up when that happens. I'm very appreciative, but I don't want to cause anyone any trouble! It's really nice to hear I'm not alone with both the looks issues AND the hair. The hair thing might sound silly to some people, but man, it can be psychologically and physically draining to deal with the frizz and sweat and overheating! It is no joke, as you know. I would absolutely love a painting, but please don't go out of your way or stress about it. My favorite cartoon character would probably be Hisoka from Hunter x Hunter! @@violet_elo thank you so much!! The reaper is one of our favorite characters for sure. We have way more content on IG than YT but I’m trying to expand out and hopefully do more long form content soon. I’m also super awkward about accepting gifts but I love giving them, it’s a curse 😵‍💫 We’re actually in the process of creating tiny tech deck parks out of cement to leave at random spots for local kids to use and graffiti for fun! We also did a mini deck art show and sold our deck on the day of the show which was wild. It’s still weird for us that people like our art but I’ve been painting for 20 years and I love cartoons so I shouldn’t be surprised that other people like it too 🤘 We love sharing art with other artists and creators because we’re appreciative of the art that they create, it really isn’t easy to put your art and content out there. A lot of our newer pieces are panic attack and dissociation related, and definitely speaks to us growing up neurodivergent and queer in the south and feeling very unsafe and misunderstood. A lot of creators we resonate with have similar backgrounds and struggles which is equal parts sucky and comforting haha ❤️

Okay so I’m doing research on Hisoka to learn more about the character since I’ve never watched Hunter x Hunter and first off, I absolutely love the androgyny and bloodlust and how he’s basically the grim reaper. Second, which arc is your favorite? His outfits and face markings can vary between arcs which is so beyond cool but I want to pull the right imagery for sure. I’ll do a digital piece first and email it to you and then I can create a canvas from that 😎 Also this is just my fun Friday night side project, I always do research on any existing characters before drawing them out so I can better understand them and the way they take up space. Plus I get to consume different types of media and lord knows my ADD needs variety to feed the dopamine beast 😂

I don't know which medication you had that caused some gains, I have my guesses though. But yea that's not your fault. I hate some of the side effects of meds that people are given. I'm glad I basically never took anything. I hope you can get off them when you're able to. And for your hair, it may have been hot on your head but if you liked it long and liked your color, maybe next time you can shave the back like you mentioned but let it grow and wear it up. At least it's what you're used to and feel comfortable with you know? If I got that right that is lol. Take care.
