I loved the people of Ireland, especially.💚 We asked a lady on the street in Dublin where a particular pub was and she said " Well, come along now I will take you there" She walked us right to the pub and it was about a 15 min walk, not right around the corner. We offered to buy her lunch or a drink and she waved us off and said just enjoy her beautiful city.

I lived in England for 3 years, met my wife in Cambridge. Driving was pretty easy, but prior to england I was in Japan for 3 years. Driving was easy in England for me because i had already spent some time in Japan driving. The speed limit in japan is pretty low too, so it might have been easier to learn.

I can imagine how you felt on your trip from Dover to Brighton. It's not so funny as it seems to be. I'm from Germany and a few years ago i drove a car in the UK too. It was terrible. Especially in roundabouts i was totally confused. Never again! 😬

I drove in Ireland on those ever so narrow roads and managed to do fine until the very last day when I took the entire side mirror off! I feel his pain!! 😘
