We NEED her to do another video, telling how she got into ballet and maybe some fun facts that most of the ppl maybe dont know. But i really loved this video and it would be amazing to see and hear more from her! 😊

Came here because the title reminded me of ATMOSPHERE's "Ballet Class 80s ASMR" video. One of my favourites. And this video didn't disappoint at all. Great stuff!

I've been a personal trainer for almost 13 years now and have always been fascinated with what our bodies are biomechanically capable of. This presentation was awesome just to learn more about what amazing stuff we can do when we really apply talent and practice.

This was so interesting- and I have a whole new appreciation for a dancer’s attention to the shoe - it’s a whole other dimension to their art. loved seeing Swan Lake yesterday and super proud to be a Pointe Shoe Fund donor! (What does ASMR mean?)

ASMR stands for autonomous sensory meridian response, it is a term used to describe a tingling, calming sensation some people report experiencing in response to certain audio or visual stimuli. It's a genre of video that has recently gained a lot of popularity. Thanks for supporting us!

oh you did it right and very well even the parts of asmr that I dont like, you can hear the lip smacking very well and it drives me nuts but some love that sound, liked the paper and the rosin most especially like sanding wood in the shop and makes dancers look as tough as they are but like they arer crushing stones as it explodes and bursts

700! that's insane! How long do they last and why don't they last longer?
@pacificnorthwestballet11 ай бұрын
Pointe shoes can last a few hours (for an active role like Odette) or a few weeks if you're not wearing them as often. The glues break down with sweat, so they don't last forever.

And from what my podiatrist has told me, the feet sweat 16oz/about 500ml per foot per day, I’ve had too many foot surgeries, my cast got sweaty and I asked 😂

Pointe shoes need to be broken in (customized to their own foot) to be able to be used by the dancers 1:35
