Family is very important, but if your sibling cannot respect your life choices and try to understand them, then that's their problem. Moving to another country is not easy. Making videos relaxing thousands of people is not easy. Learning languages is not easy and it's one of the coolest things on planet earth. These are real achievements that you worked hard for. I'm glad that you found loved ones and friends in Japan (and from other places) that respect you for what you are. Stand proud

Hi Alise! I don't comment a lot, but I really wanted to tell you how much I admire your emotional intelligence, and how calm and assertive you were while talking about your brother. Moving accross the world (specially so young), figuring your life out in a new country, finishing your degree (With 4.0!), putting yourself out there in youtube (and hitting 100k!), and taking care of all the physical aspects you need to take care of for your job... none of that is easy, at all. You need to be brave, persistent and smart in so, so many ways. I'm glad to hear you know how successful you are ❤I'm just a random stranger on the internet, but I've been following you for a while now (Since Swim Shady times) and for whatever my opinion is worth, I admire you so much, and I admire everything you have built for yourself in these couple years. Congrats on 100k!

Great video! I’m so happy for you taking risks and helping yourself grow and find happiness. I’m 33 now. At 23 I was trying to figure out what to do next, too. Now I’m an elementary school counselor and I’m married with 2 babies. My early 20s were a stressful and uncertain time, but just know that you will get through it and you have a bright future ahead of you!

I felt the "feeling guilty about leaving my family behind" line deeply. I started my PhD in the US this academic year, couldn't go back home for Christmas and I constantly feel bad about not being close with my parents

Thank ya for answering my question! I like your answers and I also like how much time you put into your answers not rushing through them and actually thinking through your answer. I also like how quickly you’re putting out your Q&A Videos instead of making us wait awhile. Also when you were talking about your favorite dessert I think you meant to say Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream but instead said Tom & Jerry which is the cartoon cat and mouse lol. Thanks again Alise! Wish you all the best ❤️😊 39:08

Yes, mathematically, 6x9 is 54, but it was a trick question. It's actually a Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy reference with the joke answer of 42. No reason you should have known that though, I just wanted to see what you'd do with it. Congrats on the 100k.
