Hello! You can get pen marks and highlister/neon stains off by using acne cream with (best) 10% benzoyl peroxide! You have to put on the spots where the stains are and leave it in the sun for a few days, wiping off the old cream and reapplying new one at least once a day. You can also use uv lamp if its not sunny where youre at, but sun works the best. Because the stains are deep in the plastic, acetone wont work! The amount of days itll take to get the stains off depends on stain itself, ive taken off some HUGE and DEEP ones, with a lot of patience! ALSO keep ij mind that it can actually discolor the paint, kind of bleach it. Some colos bleach easier than others, but ive noticed that eyes are not that easily bleached LOL. still, keep clear off of paint whenever possible! (Ive heard some people also having lps plastic bleached while using benzoyl??? But i never had that happen to me lol!) One important thing to mention tho, since you collect mlps. Dont do it with ponies, benzoyl is known to discolor the plastic itself, use hydrogen peroxide instead. (Low procentages used for hair dyeing.) I've also niticed how easily pink fades in the sun, whether that be paint or plastic, especially with ponyville! I haven't noticed any with lps tho, not from the sun itself. Good luck if you decide to do it!

@@pompomasmrrr of course, my pleasure!!! after i posted it i also remembered that more and more people complain about issues with using benzoyl on lps, saying you should be using hydrogen because its safer! (which is true but) i cant say i recommend it personally because i havent tried it on lps yet, only on g3 mlp! do what you think is best, im glad i could help! :D

I have no idea what happened to my LPSs but I remember I had them for such a long time!!! It was probably very like mid 2000s I was hard into it. The red stuff around the necks are most likely rust/residue from being submerged in water/cleaned!! It can be removed with a damp paper towel, just make sure to dry them back off so it doesn’t reappear!

I think the purple eyes indicating that LPS are rare was a rumor and is false 😭😭I was so sad because I had a lot and I thought they were a rare breed or sum. In the last few generations there has been much more variation, so the rumor died, and eventually it was debunked. The wiki says, 'A popular theory among LPS collectors is the “eye rumor,” in which it is thought that the eye color of a pet can identify if the figure is rare or not. For example, a pet with purple eyes tends to be more rare than a pet with blue eyes.
