I found your channel about two years ago when I started having severe periods of insomnia. That’s a great cranial nerve exam video, even though there’s an abnormal finding. For my HEENT exam request of 2022, the head exam will include visually inspecting the scalp, moving the hair as needed and illuminating the hair with a penlight, palpating the scalp, feeling for lesions or tenderness, measuring the height of the head, the width of the head and head circumference with a tape measure. For the eye exam, it will include distance and near vision testing with letter charts, convergence test, cover test, extraocular movements with a lighted tip of a pen, Hirschberg test, measuring the size of pupils with a ruler and a penlight in bright and dim conditions, pupillary light reflex and ophthalmoscopic exam. For the ear exam, otoscopic exam, whisper test including whispering a combination of letters and numbers, Weber and Rinne tests. And of course a nasal exam, an oral exam with penlight, dental mirror and tongue depressor and a neck exam.

During the Ishihara test, I had Flux on to the point where I was legitimately colorblind and couldn't see most of the numbers he showed lol. Flux, for those who don't know, is a program that blocks blue light to reduce eye strain especially in dark rooms or at night. It's fantastic, but it does make colors harder to discern the stronger the settings are. I'm on the strongest custom color setting you can set it to during normal use. There's also dark room mode which basically makes everything different shades/hues of red. Kinda off putting the first time you use it but it can be nice on your eyes in a nearly pitch black room.

I ve discovered your channel recently and i seem to be binging. I have all kinds of pesky problems that asmr helps me with. About three years ago, i may have had a tia I now have double vision and can't focus on much. I get terrible anxiety from not being able to see. Just double images floating around, making me terribly dizzy. Like permanently drunk. Blind drunk. Lol, i dont drink. They fitted me with prism lenses which work okay, as long as i look straight ahead. Your videos have really helped me with the anxiety. Thank you very much. If i were in your country, i would book my eye appointments with you in a new york minute! Keep up the great work, Dr SRP
