Yeah definitely do a cd collection also. And I always loved the idea of collecting vinyls but I just don’t want to dedicate the time and money to researching all the different types of turn tables and needles and setups to get a good sounding system, because those crappy suitcase turntables are so cheap and completely negate the purpose of listening to vinyl instead of just listening to a digital song.

You can collect vinyls without a vinyl player. You can keep your records sealed and save them to pass down to your kids, re-sell, trade, etc

@@quinlynnne i might be really late by now lol but usually you can identify a records release by looking up the matrix (writing surrounding the label) on discogs - the app has a barcode scanning featue as well to try make it easier to ID records
