Thanks for showing a considerate use of saddle soap! The one time I actually had to resort to saddle soap on my boots was a disaster. I left it on as if it were a conditioner, probably scrubbed way too much with a rag instead of a brush, then rinsed it all away, thinking "how else do you remove soap?" Once the boots air dried, I was not happy with the result, to say the least!
@lweleven3423 Жыл бұрын
Very. Interesting to watch I can never get mine looking like that , I guess easier when you have something to hold your boots , I’ve never had much success with creams the boot never seems to have that waterproof looks like it’s just soaking in . Why do they say you shouldn’t use boot polish on redwings ?

Hi, why you didn't opt for grease instead of wax? Wouldn't it give better waterproofing?
@JasonDornstar3 жыл бұрын
That’s a great question! You’re absolutely correct. I think the client wanted them a bit in the Shiny side so I where the wax route. Thanks for asking though! 🤘✨
@Samuel-fl2wz3 жыл бұрын
@@JasonDornstar Oh thank you for the answer! Mine was just pure curiosity to learn because I'm trying to understand better the use of the two on my boots. Maybe the grease can darken more then neutral wax light tan leathers? I've just applied some coloured wax on the toe and the heel on mine to fake renovation of the scratches on the burnish and then I have applied the grease all over because they where dry with some cracks (even if I like them dry and light more 🤔) and for now I found that it seems to work (does it?) whereas coloured wax on the circular padding that I have had previously greased gave me bad white wax cracks (don't if for the grease underneath or for the very soft leather of the circular padding). P.S. However beautiful hair flow! 😄🤟
